Garcia seeks to do away with daylight saving

Calling it a "health hazard," Senate Majority Whip Mary Jane Garcia, D-Dona Ana, has introduced a bill to do away with daylight saving time in New Mexico.

I for one like the time change for he summer. Regardless the reasons for daylight savings time, just for the summer is fine for me. I like having the daylight to do some things I need to do after work and help keep my weekends free for other things to do. Maybe we ought to introduce a bill to get rid of Mary Jane Gracia? Mary, there are more important things to deal with in Santa Fe, leave the time alone. Health hazard yeah right....geezus.

We need it to stay like it is NOW with the time in the eveinings, no matter which way I go to work in the dark like thousands of NM's and you want to take away our evining light? like I said time for you to leave

The city is concerned about all the graffiti around the city and that is great, but the city has a bigger eye sore and that is all the old empty building arounf town. In the same area where they are going to build the new aquatic center you find some old garages that are about to fall down. If build is empty and not being used tear them down.
