I heard a rumor that Mayor Fox and his sidekick, Bill Warner are gutting the Village Police Department. Cutting Police ! Good move when crime is on the rise in the County! When is the next election?

I heard from a neighbor of mine that they were just talking about cutting police positions at this time. I plan on going to the next village meeting to see exactly what is going on. How much of a tax savings will we get at the expense of our safety? My wife and I love our police. Just ask how long Nassau county people have to wait for their police to get to them. We are lucky to have Great Neck Estates police to look after our village. Why would anyone want to reduce the number of officers? I say hire more. Do not mess with our private police!
