What the Hecker

It is a sham contract as Walser Company does not need Hecker to help them "operate a dealership in the Brainerd area". Hecker failed miserably in Brainerd. The non-compete is also a sham as who would not want to compete against Hecker, game over for Hecker should anyone compete against his bad name in any area. The bankruptcy trustee knows what he is doing as he is leaving tidbits for the creditors to go after when the trustee fails to discharge Hecker's debt. Good riddence Denny Hecker, you will not be missed at all.

who would want / hire someone as a consultant after he has ran , what , about 26 car dealerships into the ground (bankruptcy).... another very shady deal .... I agree with the earlier post about the bankruptcy trustee leaving him with some money for the creditors to go after when the trustee fails to discharge Hecker's debt BUT Denny will just stuff it away in his hiding spot with the rest of his STOLEN money and nobody will get it .... Chrysler has a right to their money , they own the dealership don't they ?? it's their money, from the loans, that built and supplied the dealership isn't it ??, why in the world would Denny see one single penny from this deal .... it should all go straight to Chrysler...hope Denny pays the taxes on his 900,000 income , what would that come to , close to 300,000 for the IRS on the taxes

"The agreement includes a non-compete clause prohibiting Hecker from operating any competitive business within a 25-mile radius for four years." Can we make that 2500 miles?

I wonder if the Walsers realize that the Brainerd market is not very good right now. Why would you pay that money for that dealership? Of course, it's only a fraction of what Denny Hecker paid Roger Dondelinger for the Toyota dealership in Brainerd in the first place. Hecker is amazing. Who would pay him for consulting with his reputation? I'd just hire someone from Mills or Dondelingers to give me all the info I need on the market, but I suppose that was something that Hecker wouldn't back off of as part of the deal. I wouldn't want the guy anywhere near my lot. I doubt whether the court is going to let all this fly with Chryslers' objections anyway. And why would the Walsers want to get stuck in the middle of this mess?

It is a shame when an alleged crook can get health insurance and monthly gas payment even though he still owes about $700 million and has filed for bankruptcy. Feed the rich and suffer the poor!! Great world we live in nowadays.

This was just a ploy to get the WALSER dealership name in the news especially on a high profile case like Hecker's. Free advertisement everywhere for them........that is what most folks don't see with these car dealers.

Denny, it is obvious you can sell ice to an eskimo. Why on earth did Paul ever agree to this. Consult the Brainerd market.... 2 car allowance.... gas stipend.... health insurance....yeah right. Denny, enjoy residency in your rebar condo in Oak Park Heights. Dry cow pies still stink when you kick them.... is the Walser slogan in Brainerd goinna be "tell em Denny sent ya"

Well, that helps me eliminate a car dealership from my list of potentials for my future car purchase. I won't deal with any car dealership that has anything to do with Hecker. So, Walser Buick, you're off my list. Hello White Bear Superstore, Stillwater, Rudy Luther and Arrow. Goodbye Walser.

This guy is such a crook. I live in Minnesota. And we all know this. How he got away with it this long is anyones guess. Put his butt in jail where he belongs. Along with Madoff and our other great Mn businessman, Petters. He owes money, but yet his friends the Walser create a scheme to help him out with some income. This is nuts.

You gotta know when Denny arrives at the gates of Hell he's going to be wheeling and dealing an offer to Lucifer! This scumbag is beyond belief, I hope Chrysler goes after him for the rest of his miserable life.

The consulting position, the cars, the gas and the insurance are all part of the cost of the sale, which is a sweet deal for the Walser group. Instead of buying blue sky they took care of a few of Denny's needs to get the deal done. Heck it’s done all the time selling businesses. I know when it comes time to sell my business I am going to push for the same type of deal, they get a little discount on the price and I get good Health insurance rates at the same time as getting a small pay check as a consultant while sipping Jack Cokes beach side in Miami. Oh wait I gotta push those plans out about 20 more years thanks to the Obamanation. Right now I have to focus on keeping our 85 employees busy. Anyone who files Bankruptcy is crook no matter if it is for $5000 or 700+ million. When you barrow money you are going over your head and putting yourself at risk. Best if you have a plan and something to fall back on when things get rough. I said 7 years ago if Hecker ever has a hick-up he will sink like a rock. Over consumption, over barrowing become a snowball effect and eventually the ball implodes on itself. Our whole country is somewhat guilty of this snowball effect. It shows in the foreclosures and Credit Card Debt. Earn it, save for it and then pay cash for it if you gotta have it. Debt should be used to build a foundation, not a life style.

You need to hire Denny Hecker to consult on how to run a car dealership in Brainerd because you have never run a dealership up there. RUKiddingme? Denny, I hope you sell this well in prison because it is the only way you keep your drawers. Walsers...shame on you.
