I was comparing the LSL Forums site to the Watchers negative and un-truthful site. Instead of spreading lies and negative press about our great community,,, this site looks to take the high road.

I did not say that all truthful news is postive, read my post above.

jpowers, you make a claim that the Watchers site is full of nothing but lies and negative information. I've read their site rather in-depth. Can you guide me to specific instances of lies or negative comments that aren't valid? Really, I am serious. I don't see any, but if they are there, as a member of the CA who is subject to the actions and results of those actions of both the CA and the Watchers, I really am interested. Maybe I've missed something that is important.

Please, provide me some guidance, maybe you are right and I am wrong. Where is this negative and inaccurate information?

As for your comment on being bitter, sounds like you are bitter even more, the degree of bitterness you show toward the Watchers seems to be guiding every comment you make. Maybe you've confused bitterness with passion.

There are many to choose from,,, but their story about the election costing $35K instead of the estimate of $7K is a lie.

This was not a normal election,,, the BOD was protecting the rights of the majority of members by fighting this ballot so it cost MUCH more than a normal election.

Yes I am very bitter about this small group of people who are attempting to hyjack our great community. I am very vocal about this group as they threaten everthing my family loves about this community. We are very active in many clubs and the Watchers want them shut down. They made their feelings clear about this in an email smear campaign last Jan.

I think the new site looks great. I think it better reflects LSL and her residents than some of the other sites that claim to represent the community. I hope they get people to submit more stories and photos.

Looks like they finally have their forum back up too. Should be pretty entertaining, if it is anything like the last incarnation.
