Eisenhower wasn't a very "flashy" president, but he was one of our greatest. Having seen war, he didn't want any more of it and the US lived in peace throughout his administration. He is noted for the US Interstate Highway system (based very much on his seeing Germany's autobahn system, which was very efficient in moving war supplies).
I liked Ike. Voted for him. Where have Republicans like Ike gone?

As usual, the LOSERS start coming up with EXCUSES!

According to his son Tagg, Romney didn't really want that job!

He wanted to be president less than anyone Ive met in my life, Tagg Romney told the Boston Globe. If he could have found someone else to take his place ... he would have been ecstatic to step aside.

We are all so lucky that Mitt got his wishes.

Enraged tea party leaders are threatening to knock off dozens of Republicans who supported a measure that raised taxes on the nation's highest earners.

Weary Republican strategists are trying to be hopeful about the GOP's path ahead, and liken the current situation to party's struggles after Obama's 2008 election. At the time, some pundits questioned the viability of the Republican Party. But it came roaring back two years later, thanks largely to the tea party....
Actually, the Republican Party, infused by the Tea Partiers, did not come "roaring back" like a lion.

It came "yapping back" like a chihuahua. Shrill bark. No bite.

Eighty percent of this deficit was caused by the Bu-sh administration. The "massive spending" was already on the books when President Obama took office.

President Obama is ranked as one of the lowest spending presidents EVER.
