I heard the Watchers attorney's CA privileges were suspended for nonpayment of CA dues. Is this true?
If that is the case that explains yet another case of special interest (conflict of interest) from the Watchers. Isn't this the guy who led this group to fighting for a CA Bylaws change to allow non-paying members full CA rights?

Maybe the attorney did it too push his concerns. No more a conflict of interest than a CA member running for the CA, the member has a vested interest, but that does not mean a conflict.
I'm not sure of the watchers, but this seems like a minor issue to be worrying about.

I have no way of knowing if this is all true or not, but if so I do think it matters. Someone who is unwilling to pay for his CA membership is in charge of communications for a group trying to fundamentally change how the CA operates? I think that is more than a minor issue. At least to those of us who pay our way.

JaLonski - He does not have a vested interest as he never paid. What are his concerns? That he moved to a community with rules and since he couldn't pay he wants the rules changed?
That is like joining Lake Forest Country Club and not paying, but expecting to continue to play golf, swim, play tennis, etc..... Why should WE pay for deadbeats?

First, it is not like Lake Forest. You are not required to be a member of the Cc just because you bought a house. The CA does require that.
You say he never paid, Never is a specific words, so I would dispute that.
To use your thought - Why should WE pay for the few who swim and play golf at the CA facilities?
You also assume he can't pay. Do you have intimate detailed knowledge of this man's finances?
Anyway, like I said, I don't really know much about the watchers other than what I have read here. I'm just playing devil's advocate and not dropping into assumptions.

Odd, I don't see anyone that said he can't pay, other than JaLonski. I, for example, said he was unwilling to pay. Big difference. I assume that the guy has a car, a cell phone, probably cable, maybe goes out for dinner once in a while. If any of these things are true, he made a choice not to pay the CA. I don't know how long he hasn't paid, so I can vouche for any comment regarding "never". As for the CA, you did not purchase a house and then have the CA rules, including the cost, imposed on you after the fact. The rules were in place first, so you made a choice to purchase a house that came with this cost, just like someone that makes a choice to join a country club. No difference.
