Does anyone know who is coming up for election in April? I am so disenchanted with our Board of Aldermen I would vote for Mickey Mouse if he was running against them. I saw one of them at Wabash Days who looked like drinking too much was the agenda!

This blogger (Mr. Nastiness) will not stop trying to make the Mayor look bad, then again he did the same thing with the former Mayor. I believe he has a problem with any person of authority. I wonder why he believes he is wiser than any person of authority? We all know he is not so when is he going to figure it out? They eventually got rid of him in his old town. It will be harder to rid ourselves of him since he lives free in violation of Wentzville code in a business space in Wentzville. When will Wentzville do something about his violation?

So only this Mr. N's opinion doesn't count? What the purpose of this thread?

The purpose of this thread is to get another opinion other than Mr. Nastiness. His blog only "allows" opinions that conform to his opinion Hence this thread was made for people who differ from his opinion since he will not allow an opinion that disagrees with him. Freedom of speech is important in all arenas whether you agree or disagree. Do you get it NOW, funny?

It's funny if you pay close attention to his blog there might be a differing opinion posted but it ALWAYS gets deleted within a few hours of posting. That just happened again yesterday.

It's interesting to see how accurate his statements are, he has inside information, but his "informants" either aren't giving him accurate information or he's twisting the information to suit his purposes. When someone has a personal agenda facts just get in the way!

I was at Wabash days as well and lo and behold I find a drunken loud mouth and obnoxious Rick Stokes. I know mr. Nastiness as you call him likes mr Stokes but I wonder if he's ever seen him drunk and belligerent? I think stokes is a complete embarrassment to the city. After witnessing stokes at Wabash Days there's no doubt the Buffalo Wild Wings incident happened..

the public only heard a small fragment of the BWW incident. Had the other person involved pursue a law suit against Stokes, Stokes would be paying big money out of his pocket. Too bad the person was strong armed to drop the case. I have heard the person will go public when Stokes re-runs. Talking about it now won't help as it will be forgotten but just wait and we will get all the details.

As if I had seen it all....if anyone were to watch the Wentzville Board of Alderman meeting on the 26th of Sept. you would observe just how dysfunctional your local government really is. Wentzville is no different than Washington where favors and backdoor deals are conducted with a handshake and a wink. April is coming faster than they know it and now these politicians are doing favors for their buddies so that they can get the moolah for all those signs...Let's see that would be Gossett, Stokes and Shryock this coming spring...hm which ones will make it if any????

Stokes should lose due to the Buffalo Wild Wing incident and the money we forked out for him to get legal council FREE from our City attorney. Heard that cost a few thousand dollars, so of course Stokes would vote to keep our City attorney contract; after all he owes Rost a favor.

Speaking of favors, Forrest Gossett got caught doing exactly that with one of his buddies bidding a contract in for the City. Gossett needs to resign as this behavior is unacceptable. yes, he appologized in a meeting but that was only because he got caught. Time to say GOODNIGHT, Mr. Gossett. That would be the ethical thing to do, resign.

It seems to me that there is alot of corruption in Wentzville with everyone self dealing contracts to better fund their political rally. I know that an alderman did to get money from his buddy in O'fallon. It may be subtle but it is enough to convince me that he is padding his pocket. The real truth is that these people are not honest and actually are hipocrites all professing to be these religious and ethical people when they are far from that! They should be ashamed. Instead they keep cheating! Example: The Board wanted to cut 500K from their budget in 2012: Then what did they do with the savings? Gave it to their friends.

Yes, I would like to open a business and have them foot the bill for my first 3 years of expenses. Where is my $350,000 like you all gave the business on Parr Street?

Mr. N will not say anything negative about Gard, Gossett or Stokes in his blog. Could that be that he doesn't want to lose his inside information; after all, Jerry H will retire soon and their will only be those 3 boys left for info. Scum sticks together no matter how much Dawn you put in the water.

Mr nastiness is clueless regarding the information he peddles in his blog. He is a fool and a buffoon. Why he did not follow up on alderman Guards "clean up your act" comment or enlighten us as to why alderman Gard was investigated by st Charles county is beyond ethical reporting. He wastes no time pinning mistakes on the mayor knowing full well that he has no voting power. What an idiot! All the while board members use employees to do their bidding behind the mayor and other board members backs. I can prove what I say and will in due time, as will others.....then maybe Mr nastiness will see that he's been cheering for the liars, hypocrites and cheaters of this board all along. I'm sure he will find a way to spin the evidence away from his friends...but it just won't be believable.

First of all the old grump is not a legitimate reporter so he isn't worried about unbiased reporting of anybody or anything, so facts and accurate reporting aren't a part of his stories!

Anybody that he supports in politics should not be in office, because he only supports people who are like him...scum!

Well Mr Nastiness continues to throw our Mayor under the bus as well as Shyrock and Kross but think back and these were all "friends" of his. The minute something doesn't go his way, they become horrible people. Just because Mr N is not supporting them, I WILL vote for Kross this time. He continues to state how much the city will pay with City Attorney fees since they did not renew their contract but what he doesn't state is how much the city paid with attorney fees to defend Alderman Stokes at the BWW fight. Not one dime of city money should have been used for Mr. Stokes drunkiness behavior that night and yes, Mr. Stokes voted to keep this attorney who gave him legal advice at the cost of our tax money we paid for "city" services. Why doesn't Mr N talk about that expense or the expense Mr. Stokes cost us when he and Mr. Gard gave away $350,000 of our tax money for a private company to come into our city and they felt it was the right thing to do by supporting this company for 3 years with our tax money. There is something for Mr. Nastiness to talk about but NO talk about these matters because Mr. Stokes hasn't crossed him yet. Eventually he will then he will have something new to talk about.

He's beyond slanted, he's a flat out liar! It's ironic when he makes comments about the city employees agreeing with Stokes or Stokes being on their side, I don't know of ANY city employees who agree with, trust or even like Stokes! But as I've said before, time will tell who's lying and cheating the Wentzville voters, and that will happen in a courtroom!

I am sure you can request a copy from the police dept but keep in mind this was a cover up and probably does not give the complete story. I know the victim personally and the facts of what really happened would have landed you or me in jail. In this case Stokes was allowed to drive home although it was apparent to all employees of BWW, the other aldermen that was drinking with him and the victim that he was under the influence. It was either you cover up or you don't have a job, which is the way the city is running with our 6-Team clown show. One or two of them might end up blowing the whistle shortly, which is usually how a situation like this ends. Wonder who the whistle blower will be?

I agree that their cover up will eventually be uncovered, especially when the City ends up in court involving wrongful termination of other employees. Stokes is an elected official but he's also an employee of the City and instead of having any disciplinary action taken against him the taxpayers paid for the City attorney to "investigate" when The Patch requested some of the paperwork on this incident from the police department.

The truth will surface it's just a very slow, expensive and painful process!!

Mr nastiness is at it again....more lying more cheating, what's new? Now he claims that the police chief was targeted unfairly because it was exposed by alderman Shryock that the Chief was dating a member of the police chiefs association. Mr N does not see through his lying eyes that alderman shryock was right in claiming unethical behavior. The chief was vetted by the police chiefs association. She lived in Florida while her boyfriend was here. The police chiefs association gave her the job and now Mr N tells me that her beau was on the board that gave her the job? Seriously? And Mr n sees nothing wrong with that! This guy cannot be trusted.
