WAY TO GO! It's nice amongst all these stories of tragedy to see a truly inspirational story. Congratulations!

i'm not sure how i feel about this story. in some ways it's very inspirational. but isn't part of having a disablilty or chronic illness understanding where your limits are and accepting them? it seems she put herself at great risk because she went beyond those limits instead of accepting them. again, i'm not condeming, i'm just bringing up the point.

Because the official name of the event is IronMAN.
Important point though- There is golf, and then there is "Ladies" golf. There is basketball, and then there is the WNBA. Amazing isn't it?

In response to "Violent Tendencies": you cannot be serious? This woman may have had a problem with her diabetes during the race, however she had the determination to continue. It is sad to think how much "Violent Tendencies" must miss out on life sitting at the computer criticizing others rather than challenging him or herself.

Amazing story, it's inspiring to see the selflessness of Judy and the spirit of Kate. More people should take time to be this way in their everyday lives.
