Oregon reports steepest jobless rise in nation

Oregon has recorded the steepest year-over-year rise in unemployment rates among the states and now its jobless rate ranks second among them.

Has anyone worked the unemployment numbers to see what percentage of them are illegals? It would seem to me that many have left California and other southern states and come north in search of work. I am curious to know how many of that 12% are citizens, but of course that makes me racist right? Or you can look at it the other way 'round. What would that number be if there were no illegals taking those "jobs we won't do"? I have friends who are happy to have jobs washing dishes and nailing on roofing. But again, I am racist, or mean or some such thing to want to see American jobs go to citizens.

Probably a heck of a lot are illegals since the majority of home construction workers are illegal. Of course their employers will deny this. Silly geese. None of these private contractors use E-VERIFY to prove their construction workers are legal but lie through their teeth to say they are. GOOD RIDDANCE.
