I must confess surprise at seeing Gordon J. Fulks' column impugning climate change science so prominently featured on your Dec.

Current science is the party line, it comes in at #23 on their list of things to do, often lower than that.

Those who follow the *science* of AGW are just sticking to *the facts*. Which means they are not 'advocates' of anything but truth and a responsible response.

It is those that try to 'create diversion' and 'fudge up some doubt' that embrace 'advocacy'. They advocate stupidity and lack of foresight.

The science says that human emissions are responsible for MOST of AGW, which has SOME unknown but significant part of climate change.
I'm wondering if you've found out what the A in AGW stands for yet?

I am wondering if you have determined the difference between global and regional or climate and weather. And you obviously don't know the difference between discussion and mindless rhetoric.

Are you saying that AGW is responsible for global climate or regional weather?

Awww, c'mon there fatso, you must admit it was a real doozy, actually admitting, "that human emissions are responsible for MOST of AGW, which has SOME unknown but significant part of climate change."
You even capitalised MOST.
Is it that hard to admit your mistakes, Mr Undoubtably Spelt Fourty?

That question doesn't even make sense to YOU. Climate is a response to the input of solar energy. CHANGE in climate and 'disruptive climate change' is a response to changes in how the earth's climate acts based on various factors such as the greenhouse effect and global average temperatures.

GHG emissions are most likely the cause of most of the recent warming. That is certainly supported by climatologists. And yes, we are just starting to learn how this will affect climate. The only thing we know for CERTAIN is that it WILL affect climate in a big way (from paleoclimatology examples of similar changes in the past)

As I pointed out many times, I stated only that 'fourty' was the spelling taught in 1960's Ontario and the form "forty" which has gained ascendancy throught Americanization and US word processor spelling checkers was promoted by the US in concert with many other 'revisions' to distinguish American English from the original.

At no time has spelling being enforced or uniform globally. Roofs of rooves is still debatable..

You keep twisting this out of shape to try to make it an 'issue'. All it does is show you to have no real arguments or intelligence to contribute so all I can say is "Happy New Year" and "Get a life"..

LessFact, you once again miss the point or are simply trying to wriggle out of it.

Human emissions are responsible for ALL AGW, not, "MOST of AGW."
No other emissions are responsible for AGW, it's a simple concept that anyone should be able to understand.
Got it yet?

Yes, you have pointed that out, many times and I've produced irrefutable evidence, on many occasions that whatever you learned, it was incorrect.

That's absolute balderdash, Noah Webster didn't alter the word, it has been spelt forty for over 200 years.

That isn't the point, forty has been the correct spelling for over 200 years, not, "fourty."

Off topic.

Me?
That would be you, methinks.

Nice one, you invariably finish with an insult, how typical.
