State would lose a net of seven DMV offices, under proposal

A net total of seven Division of Motor Vehicle centers would be closed but hours would expand at other locations, under a proposal from state officials.

Dear Sirs,

I note that the voters of Luck and Amery helped to elect Gov. Walker in the hope that he would deliver on his campaign pledge to cut spending and balance the budget. Now that it appears the spending cuts will include the DMV office hours in Luck and Amery, are Gov. Walker's supporters there still cheering? How do the elderly who have no driver's licenses plan to keep their right to vote?
