Saltwater beach or fresh, Fairfield has both

Visit the state's coastal towns and you're likely to find at least one public beach on Long Island Sound.

How about some news for those of us who already know the town has Long Island Sound beaches and a freshwater lake? Reads like another propaganda article from the Compost to prop up the current administration, especially since there was no mention in the article of the trash and dog and horse manure on the town's Long Island Sound beaches or the still-incomplete renovation of Penfield Pavilion

Fairfield also adamantly refuses access to some beach areas like Mohegan and Sasco to residents from other towns, pay or not. They just don't like "those" people there.

I remember a day long long ago when you did not have to worry about sewage spill or bacterial counts. And you could really eat the fish you caught.

Excellent point, but it can't be included in a propaganda report for the current administration.
