Burlington man dies Sunday in house fire

A 49-year-old Burlington man died in a fire at his home early Sunday morning. David Cheatle, a United Parcel Service driver, was found on his couch after firefighters and police responded to a 5 a.m. fire at his home on Spruce Street in Burlington.

I am stunned beyond belief! My brother David is the youngest of the eight in our family. A tragedy that the last one born is the first to die. I only pray that he is at peace and is with our mother in heaven and watching over the rest of the Cheatles. I love you David. You will be missed by all and thought about often.
