Esparza to fight request by Quintana for venue change

District Attorney Jaime Esparza plans to challenge East Side city Rep. Rachel Quintana's request to move her forgery case outside of El Paso.

I don't think there is that many people involved in politics in El Paso. Why is she so worried? Guilt?

What the hell does she need a "change of venue?" One would think that she was going to trial as if she had murdered someone! IT'S A CASE OF FRAUD. Give me a break. All these postponements and changing lawyers like she changes underwear is ridiculous. Go to court and get it over with.

Don’t these people have anything better to police and fight about! My GOSH, I can think of a billion things el paso politicians can focus on instead of some cheesy case involving a city council woman forging a letter to southwest to get a discount! I mean ….. GET REAL …. WHO CARES!!!!

Is there anyone in there? In case you didn't know this, we have a big problem in el paso with dirty politicians, so if this one is allowed to get away, the dirty cycle will only continue. Largate de aqui!

Another waste of money. It is only a misdemeanor!!! She is trying to stall the the inevitable - they have the forged document, unlike the past with those in her group of "political" friends, look at the DUI case of Travis Ketner, that got lost in the system, so many others, that seem to hide or get expunged without ever seeing the light of day, looking at the BIG CLERKS HERE. Hers can't happen, to much in the news.
