Texas is balancing it's budget, created half the jobs in the US in the last 4 years, while other states contiunue massive debts and spending. You idiots keep voting for the ones that cause more debt, not try and repair it. Unbelievable you vote for the same socialists crapheads that cause your problems time and time again.
Even California re-elected the moron that started their massive debt. You're as funny as a fart in an elevator!

Give 'em hell, Rick!

Bullsh*t! White did more damage to the city of Houston than anyone has done to most states. The GOP nuts have created half the jobs in the US in the last 5 years. What state is working better for the people who live there? Go ahead, we'll wait for you to fabricate another liberal spew answer.

Texas education ranks way above Illinois gang infested cesspools for your information. We have the top two public schools in the nation, which are magnet schools created by Gov. George W. Bush and have been expanded by Gov. Perry. Dallas is also beginning to confiscate the cars of people who get pulled over and have no proof of ID or insurance. Try to keep up if you can.

Texas has 5 top public high schools in the upper 20 of the nation. Ill noise doesn't even have one! Is that all libeals are good for, whining and complaining what others are doing? Do something besides expect the government to do it for you.

The Dems had made huge gains in 2008.

49 out of 50 states are experiencing deficits right now. Texas is handling theirs. That's what happens in a deep recession.

With Texas now being home to more Fortune 500 companies than any other state, it's no question why we're handling the recession better than the rest.

The US spends more on education per pupil than any other country in the world right now, and we barely rank in the top 25 in performance. If we weren't coddling the youth with feel good outcome based liberal ideas, we would be far ahead of the pack like we used to be.

Notice how much better home schooled and privately educated kids do better both on tests and in life.... on a vastly reduced budget.

Don't fall into the easy but ill-informed trap that money spent equals results. The 'war on poverty' from the 1960's has stolen and redistributed over 5 trillion dollars. The same people are broke because of their habits, not from a lack of handouts.

It is, but it is a necessary expense. Our Forefathers, as well as our home country of England agree.

An uneducated populace gives us Africa. Not Botswana nor South Africa, but a cacophony of Liberia and such. Without a respect of knowledge, we become a cesspool of white trash trailer parks and... ummm, to say anything else becomes a racist statement. Dirty, ugly, redneck, racist, welfare collecting white trash.

Our government collects taxes to defend our borders, provide a public education, and defend contracts...including our whole court system. Our infrastructure is also served by a public shared contribution.

When lax parenthood and illegal squatters whine for free lunch and free medical care as well as free housing, you have introduced pure socialism.

You have also stolen natural human incentive.
