As a public official, she should be held to a higher standard. Just like the officer who got 7 years for sexual assault this week, he was held to a higher standard. Most other sexual assault offenders do not get that long of a sentance, but he was held to a higher standared, which I agree with.

It may have been a first offense but it was intentional, she knew that she no longer worked for that company and she was trying to get away with something she knew was wrong. The only reason she owned up to it was because she was caught.None of our politicians should be able to get away with trying to scam someone else, even if it is only a small infraction. It is getting away with the small things that leads to them trying to get away with the bigger things, at least that is my opinion, lol. I feel that all of the people who hold a position in a public office should be held to a higher standard because they are supposed to be representing the people, I know that they are only human, but they are supposed to be setting an example for the people that they are representing.
