What the Kern County Board of Supervisors (board of corruption) doesnt want anyone to know:

Does anyone every think it kind of strange about the dam leak? How many years was the lake drained due to an endangered bird called a Fly Catcher that no one had ever seen? Around 2005, the bird was removed from the endangered list, and the following summer, the lake was filled up again to the spill level. Later that year, they discover a leak in the dam, and the lake once again is drained low.

Think about it. Bakersfield has the rights to the lake, and they want the water, and are getting it. So it is one excuse after another to keep the lake drained. If there was a leak, it would be fixed by now. Pathetic!
