On 4/9/2012 an ad appeared on Craigslist for volunteers to work at a Woodstock restaurant for filming "Restaurant Impossible" on The Food Network the next week.

Anyone know what restaurant the are "flipping"?

Angelo's on the square
Thanks! Is that a guess or "in the know"?

Makes sense, a nice location but not a popular destination. I thought Pirros or Jalepeas might be candidates.

It's what I have heard through the business owners in the area. I would say im fairly confident they would be right. That place could use some tlc though.

Grapevine: Today (Saturday) I heard it won't be at Angelo's because the restaurant would not come up with thier portion of the money. I assumed the deal would be comp't by the network and suppliers for the "free" advertising.

I hope I'm (and the guy who told me that) are wrong.

The NW Herald is to run a story about it tomorrow. Pirro's and Jennapea's are both closed....Angelo's make sense.

Yea, they only seem to flip open and operating restaurants. Otherwise, I thought those two would be candidates. I also thought the Italian place on Throop and 120, across from the Marathon & Dairy Queen..

Sunday, on Facebook, The Woodstock Independent reports the story, verifying it's at Angelo's. Also notes that the show operates on a $10k budget.

Any word on what changes were made? Theme? Menu focus? All I heard was new blinds, paint, rearranged and smaller menu.
