No loving mother would watch their children starve and not do anything to help, most mothers would risk their life if necessary to save the life of their child. She watched 5 of her children go hungry and then blame the church because they cut off assistance and you don't take action, there is no need for anybody to starve in the U.S. She had access to a phone in her cabin paid for by the church, she had a teaching degree, she was not helpless.

I totally agree this woman was mental and is to this day telling her counsel that the Lord will provide for her defense and that he will see to it that she gets off with the charges!! Anyone who uses Jesus as a crutch is very twisted and dellusional especially when she is allowing her poor babies to suffer so horribly!! And yes in this day and age there is no excuse for going hungry with the food pantrys, outreach programs and soup kitchens?? PLease she was a lazy no good mother who didn't deserve to raise children let alone be able to bioligically produce them!! Most anyone can be a mother but not all know how to be a parent!!!
