i can't believe this guy can even call that place a's got about as much character as my unpainted big toenail. He treats his employees horribly and the decent ones don't stay..what does that tell you? I also heard a rumor that he had to appear in court because he beat up a cook. I hope that guy quit!
I also just heard they were visited by the board of health for some serious issues.
Definitely not the place you wanna be!

I've been there probably 10 times.. Good food staff has been fine. Not sure what the problem is.. Character wise i would say it sits mid point between Double S - and sussex queen.... IDK just my opinion. I wouldnt have gone back if it sucked.... Give it a shot.... good food, good special, good prices...

Haven't dined there and doubt I will. Can you explain what his personal life and marriages has to do with the quality of food and service? While you're at it.....what business is it of yours if his first wife made a living by exploiting men who stupidly gave her money when they sat drinking at a club she was employed at? Why would you fault the “Exotic Dancer”? They stopped to look at her, didn’t they? They could have driven right by without stopping. Trying to ruin a new business for personal reasons isn’t very nice of those who feel the need to spew gossip. No I don’t know either of them but this sounds wrong to me.

The owner is not an honest guy, he steals, he does not pay his bills or his people and he is mean. The food sucks and the place is dirty. All a reflection of the owner.

Heh....the place went out of business and now apparently the guy who ran this place is now opening up a new diner in Franklin, at the old Hooters location.

Back when the diner first opened (after the Texas hotdog place), it was great. I think then the owner was one of the guys from Double S Diner. After that, the current owner took over and it went seriously downhill. He looked like one of the most miserable people I've ever seen. NEVER smiled, NEVER said hello, wow, such lovely customer service. I guess he was only friendly to his "regulars"....a few dopes who came in and out on a regular basis and took up space at the counter.

WORST coffee, handsdown, of ANY local diner or restaurant. YACK. FILTY FILTY FILTY bathroom and I can't tell you the amount of bugs and gook I would see along the window sills. HOLY CRAP. Syrup bottles literally STUCK to tables.

I'm happy to see the place was gross.

Ya want some great customer service and FRIENDLY SMILES? Granny's on Route 23 in Hamburg. LOVELY bunch of gals waitressing there. And it's clean.
