4% is too much

4% on an already streched income and a sewer bill that is way to high is forcing us to sell our home and leave hopatcong after 55 years of living in this town. I don't pretend to have the answers, but look around, left and right, houses for sale. Not because they want to, you provide them NO CHOICE. How about knocking out some of our police force and mixing with another town, like wharton and dover do. That might save $$. We could also have a salary adjustment accross the board for our higher level school employees and compensate in other ways instead of $$$. Like a flex time schedule/comp days. This town has to figure out a way to lower expenses for it's residents otherwise we will all be forced to move and sell our homes. You may change the dynamics of what was a town most people felt blessed to live in and raise their children. Please lower our overhead and find a way to reduce our financial strains/ Taxes/ Sewer Bill...Thank-you.
