I am the mom of an 11 year old and was looking up IC Talent's new address in San Diego as I came across this article. I used to take my daughter up to Lake Forest where their main office is and Gabriela went to class for 10 weeks, about 6 hours a week. We live in La Jolla and driving up on Sunday was alright since there was no traffic. I was going to call them when they open later on today to get the new address in SD and sign up for more classes. Gabriela loved the classes. She thought they were a lot of fun. I noticed changes in her very fast: She is more outgoing! Gabriela got signed right away and booked a commercial for the Wachovia bank. Because we live so far, I haven't taken her to a lot of auditions, but other kids have huge college money in the bank. Gabriela made $25,000 on the commercial which was national. Other kids work much more, even from SD. There were two kids in Gabriela's class who were driven down from Burbank as they were sent by agents. I am looking forward to bringing her back and this time we are about 15 minutes away!
Gabriela not getting much has nothing to do with how talented and beautiful she is. I refused a lot of opportunities from the agent, but because she obtained work very fast, we still have an agent:) My schedule is lighter as my husband and I own a business and we work together so I can take her more. So back we are with IC Talent for more classes. Thanks Helen if you read this. Angela

I am an actor and I just started taking the young adult classes at the IC Talent institution. I love the teachers there. All the instructors are licensed and they all have worked in the business as actors, producers, directors and screenwriters. I was amazed to find out that these guys coach actual working actors, recurring roles on the set! I am almost done with my initial ten weeks and I am much more comfortable in front of the camera. I really enjoy the script analyses classes, the notion of text and subtext as they call it really helps you understand how to actually become the character. I am off to the gym as it is my teacher's advice and I will be attending the 3PM class on Saturday. I will let you know what happens when I come in to meet the agents. They are there every Saturday, but I need to finish my classes first :) I took their photoshoot course and I love the material which came out of it: Great headshot, awesome training. I just gotta work on my abs and arms some more :)

I have been bringing my daughter to the San Diego school. She loves the classes. I took her last Sunday to the Orange County office so she can take the photoshoot course and I love the pictures that came out of it. We only saw the contact sheets and chose the one we like best, but I already downloaded the pix in my computer and emailed the whole family:) Can't wait to take her to the agents! Thanks IC Talent!
