reducing elected officials salaries- when did you get a raise last

Have you ever heard that the salaries are set by Tallahassee and there is nothing they can do about it? Well read this.
2011 General Law Amendments Affecting Elected Officers’ Compensation:
Chapter 2011-158, Laws of Florida,(HB 19) provided that notwithstanding the provisions of Chapter 145, F.S., each member of a board of county commissioners, clerk of circuit court, county comptroller, sheriff, supervisor of elections, property appraiser, and tax collector was authorized to voluntarily reduce his or her salary rate. This change became effective on July 1, 2011.
