You can ask officer carmicle chief of police in monette now. I believe he was there when they got him. I don't know what he did but he was running from the police and all local police was looking for him. Again I do not know if this is the same man but I would not want to dress down to my underware in that river. Good Luck I hope you find your answers. Also Officer Justin Rolland is a very understanding officer and he might sit down with you and shed some light on both situations. Lake City County office.

didnt eddie krigler beat his mom to death with a baseball bat and said it was because of the music he was listening too or something. I was jus a wee lil lad when it happened so naturally my memory of it is skewed

ok someone on the jboro board just informed me that eddie did beat his parents but that they didn't die. i'd still like more details like if he said he did it because of heavy metal music and if that's not true did he say why he did it. anyone with info it would be helpful

Eddie did beat his parents...both survived, but refused to have him prosecuted. He beat them with a board that had a nail in it. His parents have since passed away. Eddie now lives in Little Rock, and his brother Kenny lives in their old house on Dennis St. They have a sister also, but I dont know what ever happened to her

He had two young sisters twins Tressa and Trina. Tressa moved away and Trina is attending college. Why are you so interested in this case?

What are you doing the research for I am very interested? What will you be doing with the information? Things like this happen everyday in little towns all across America. LC is far from Norman Rockwell, it is crime ridden, drug problems etc.

What about the Asian (I think.) guy who was tied up and his house torched. Seems like he had only one leg. Late 70's. Seems like it was in the corner near where Randy Larison (spelling?) lived. Never heard what became of that.

Believe June killed Paul Monroe about 4 houses down from there... I think anyway.

The Asian Guy lived.. he was tied up and left to burn but jumped out of his window,,still tied up, and rolled down the street for help. It was on Suzy Street. The Monroe shooting was at 901 Johnson. Right beside the house that Pudgey Kain lived in as a boy. It went to court but I dont know the outcome. She alleged it was a domestic battery situation.

i did answer your question when you asked it on the jboro forum. mostly just curiousity I was very young when it happened I lived in lake city and I very vaguely remembered it. I am a psych major at asu and would one day like to write my senior thesis and/or a book about incidents like this what the real causes could have been(nature vs. nurture). its just brainstorming at this point tho looking for inspiration and incidents like this in small town america are very interesting to me. why are you so interested in why so i'm interested in this?

I stand corrected. June did time for murder. She's been out for along time though. My parents were friends of theirs.

Seems like Randy's dad spotted the Asian guy hoppin on one leg and helped him. He was just beat up and scared crazy. I never heard of any arrests in the case. Seems like I was told some men in sheets and hoods were responsible. I dunno though.

He heard him making noise outside of the window, he orginally thought it was someone on drugs. He was still bound head and foot and gagged. The thing was a robbery. He had been showing a great deal of cash around town. They used the gas from his motorcyle to burn the house, the house still stands at the end of Johnson or the top of Suzy Street. That was quite a street to grow up on 1 murder, and attempted murder and arson and a serial rapist all in the same neigborhood.

Because I was a very good friend of the family and you don't know what this did to the girls. Someone who goes through such a horrible act as this doesn't recover overnight. They are changed forever. They don't need someones morbid curiousity bringing up bad memories. These girls went through hell and lived a nightmare that still haunts them to this day.
