It's everyone's business when you pollute and stink up the environment with your toxic crap. In case you didn't know it, humans need air to survive. Yeah, there's enough toxins in the air to probably cause allergies, asthma and perhaps even lung cancer, but cigarette fumes just adds to the problem, particularly for those who are most susceptible. For many people with existing health issues, it's difficult if not impossible, to avoid 2nd hand smoke. My father had a severe stroke and spent 7 years in a nursing home before he died. He was paralyzed on one side, blind in one eye, totally incontinent, couldn't speak or remember who he was and didn't recognize his family. He would have been better off if he had died when he first had the stroke. It was pitiful to look at him; just a shell of the man he once was. Thanks to my dad, I have had allergies and asthma for most of my life. He smoked unfiltered Pall Malls almost non-stop. I remember our apartment reeked after stale tobacco. My dad suffered from his long standing habit, but he brought it all on himself. We tried to tell him for years what he was doing to himself - and us, but he wouldn't listen.
