What kind of idiot doesn't look at the weather report before going out on Lake Michigan? it gets worse out there than being in the middle of a hurricane.

That is so sad to hear. I am an avid kayaker and it can be a tricky sport.

Blessings to her family and friends.

And to blitherer....try to grow a heart sometime.

If you've ever actually been out on the "big pond", you'd know that it can change in 5 minutes.

This is a story, about a woman, who recently went searching for love in the wilderness, kayaking. She kayaked a long way, and went down through some unfamiliar territory; when some angry tribesmen came aboard her ship and sank it from all the weight. They got scared and started to panick, so they clung to the woman holding her head down in the water to keep their heads above water. She drowned; as they floated to shore they realized she was dead, and then they quickly climbed onto the sandy shore and ran away naked, frightened and screaming, ran all the way to aurora. There they broke into some old black man's basement, and when he went down there and found him, they tied him up and ran carrying him out of the house, where they carried him into the street where they droped him and he was hit by a car that was drag racing. THE END

This is exactly why there are so many drownings and accidents, people do not take boating of any type seriously. Yes, Kayaks and canoes are boats and many of the same safety issues for larger boats hold true for paddle craft. To be so lame as "blitherer" and "to be a movie" seem to be, no wonder people are dying daily on the waterways of our country. Sadly we lost another boater that probably could have been alive today if a boating safety class was taken.
