I was pick-pocketed in Pomona and filed a police report. I did the detective work for them and discovered my credit card was used at a car stereo store on Indian Hill Blvd. I told the officer all he has to do was request the surveillance videos as the store owner wouldn't release them to me. Basically I was told they couldn't help me because they were "swamped." Just created a police report to file in the trash. Wow, I feel so safe now that dirty old men can't get a bj from these toothless wonders.

Thats the oldest trick in game used by hookers, pick pocket a guy when his pants are down around his ankels with his head tilted back....lol...you should have placed your wallet in your hand and squeed it tight instead of those saggy brest on the hooker you used.

She would not have been able to get your wallet.....Bada Bing!!!!!

Why is this a crime? It has been happening since the dawn of man. Why is giving pleasure against the law? What's the difference between spending $300 on a "date" vs. whatever they pay (I would never use this "service", no need) for a straight business deal?

We need to move out of the middle ages!

No, never have, never will. But it costs almost $64,000 a year to keep a person in prison. Why do we do this for mutual consent, victimless crimes? For the same price as we pay to house an inmate, we could have sent them to 4 years of college, with money left over.

I guess since 16 year old Valentino Arenas gunned down the CHP officer in Pomona in 2004 that has been enough cholos off the street for Pomona, good enough for them i guess, just wait until another cop is machine gunned down with a MAC-10 in that city and THEN the city will forget about prostitution and go after the gangsters.

When the gang-banger gets busted he complains that cops should be out busting the hookers and drug dealers. When the drug dealers get busted, they're customers, the druggies, complain that the cops should be out busting the hookers and gang bangers. When the hookers get busted, their customers, the Johns, complain that the cops should be out busting the gang-bangers and drug dealers.

And so it goes, on and on and on and .....

How about we legalize bank robbery where no one gets hurt. The government could tax the robber with a high rate, windfall profits tax.

A great money maker!!

Why would anyone get upset because the Pomona PD spent a few hours one day arresting a bunch of Aids Infected hookers? They were still patrolling the streets as always, still arresting drunk drivers and still investigating all other crimes. Unless you're a customer or potential customer of these hookers, then I guess it would upset or annoy you ......

Because most of these people don't want to go to college or even care about college. And even if we did send them to college, then we would be supporting their education and they could still be committing crimes while going to school at the same time. Lots of criminals are slick and manipulative, and instead of appreciating leniency and kindness, they just find a way to take advantage of it in the wrong way.

Besides, if we sent these criminals to college instead of jail, we would then hear an outcry of outrage about how we were spending thousands of dollars a year to send low-life criminals to college while good kids were struggling to get enough money to go. The parents of good kids would be struggling to send their kids to college while low-life criminals were getting a free ride.

Great Idea! Wow, good thinking! Just what we need, a lot of college educated criminals to move into postitons of power in corporate America. As if we don't have enough problems there already. Yes, lets send all of our criminals to college so they can move into better positions to screw us over. Nothing like blending the criminal mentality with power and position.

It's like this, prostitution hurts not only the women and men commenting the act, it hurts their families and the city of Pomona. It's not easy owning a business on holt when consumers won't come you because the street and sidewalk is full of nasty whores. I've yelled at them, asked them to leave, have had physical altercations w/them and even prayed for them to leave... but they keep coming back. It's a quality of life issue. When young kids walking home for school (I'm talking about real youngsters) have to witness these "women" looking for a john and/or doing a john right in front of them, well, it's not right.

Those of you that blame the department by saying, "go after the real bad guys" don't understand what a police department is there for.

Pomona was a once Great city where people from the surrounding communities came to shop.. now, they stay away. I understand that the gangs and shootings have played a big part in this, but let's be real, the prostitution is also a major deterrence. Those who state negative comments of a detail such as this I guarantee you don't work or live on e.holt.

So, when our Police Department takes on a detail like this, we should all praise them for their effort and the effectiveness of the vice unit.

Thats all I have to say about that... NOW, WHATS UP W/THIS P.O.S. president obama. HE'S ACTUALLY HAPPY OUR COUNTRY IS IN THE STATE IT'S IN. ALL YOU LIBERAL FRIGGIN PROGRESSIVE PUNKS NEED TO WAKE UP!!!

And to the strong Hispanic voice in Pomona, obama has done NOTHING on immigration... HE'S JUST USING YOU FOR YOUR VOTE... WAKE UP!!
