Funny, usually a newspaper will have a feature story on the winner, not the loser. But, then again, this is the Sun.

Either way it goes we will be taking care of Parolees, if they are in jail we will still be taking care of them. I like Morris because he believes in giving second chances and sometimes people need that. Oh yes and by the way people with certain convictions can't live in HUD or Low Income housing and Penman being an attorney should know that, but he probably does...........

Penman needs to retire. His political career is over. He burned his last bridge. His comments about all Morris voters being criminals "parolees" show his complete lack of respect for the citizens of San Bernardino who overwhelmingly reelected Pat Morris. Penman has nothing but contempt for the Mayor. He has no faith in our city or citizens. His negative viewpoint is a cancer at city hall and retards any positive efforts to transform the city. It is time for him to leave. Recall, Charter change, or perhaps Penman will display a small amount of grace and resign- He needs to go away. FAR AWAY.

I would add my 2 cents but I doubt I could say it any better than Classic did.

I have to add my agreement of the assement by Classic. Retire before you can be recalled Penman. I'm sure you want to spend more time with Judi and the grandkids.

To my memory Penman has been fighting with everyone at City Hall as long as he has been in office. He is always squabbling with everyone else. Everyone else is always a crook, he alone is the Great Knight out there to save San Bernardino. I think he is on the edge of delusional. Now it is his opinion that Morris' followers are larded with criminals. I wonder did he run background checks in his followers, I suspect at least as many criminals. Delusional!!

LOL. So glad to see Morris getting some recognition. Penman is a huge pain in the ***. He deep-sixed the last mayor with his stupid lies and I was worried he'd bring down Morris. Just another right-wing troll.

Why do you think Penman has won re-election to city attorney after all the controversy? Is his image different after the mayoral election?

He only won by 256 votes to a newcomer. Wait until next time. Maybe he'll all do us a favor and retire. I heard from a friend at City Hall that he made that statement on Wednesday.

I wonder what Penman's wife thinks of the "chummy" relationship between Wendy McCammack and her hubby?

This is the man that wasted 8 MILLION DOLLARS in his vendetta against the Flesh Club. Maybe one of the dancers made fun of his own "flesh club"?

Yes, The Sun, in Penman-speak, "The Mayor's Newspaper". How much water is that holding now? How much did it ever hold?

When Penman learned of our recall efforts gaining support in numbers worrisome to him, he mentioned to the press his intent to retire at the end of this term.
He hopes we, the people, will accept half Mayor Morris' 2nd term to be continually obstructed, as the first one was.
But we, the people, have seen the results Mayor Morris accomplished during his first term and are determined to open the pathway toward progress for Mayor Morris' 2nd term by hoisting that boulder off our runway: Recall Penman!

Daily Horoscope for January 6

Scorpio

Don't let yourself be caught up in a crowd mentality. Just because someone else makes a major production out of what should be a simple matter, doesn't necessarily mean that it has to affect you adversely. You might be able to bring down the volume with a tap on the shoulder and a meaningful look. Even though it might not seem like it, your cool head is definitely appreciated at times like this.
