WEll said the advocate. However, small towns carry a hard form of retaliation. Politics is deadly and rumors kill. Lets talk Politics. The mayor son was arrested by one of the officers that was fired, he arrested his son on felony charges. Question did that play apart in his firing?

may we within this forum ask to whom 'the advocate' is addressing and accusing as a liar or coward?

what points do you contend as libelous and or cowardly?

Highly boosted, it should be pretty evident, my letter was for anyone making accusations against others. In my post, I laid out a way for people to do more than just accuse others of wrong doing. If you have a concern about a wrong, you have a right to discuss it. However if all you do is talk, and you fail to make even the most basic attempt to right the wrong, well then you are a coward.

Beware driving through this "friendly" little town after dark. You might be harassed without cause by a short, Mexican Perry cop. He stopped me for no reason, tried to find something to nail me on, couldn't do that, so he tried to pick a fight. Bad case of "little dick" syndrome. Use caution!
They fired him years ago.

officer Hernandez helped save my life in 08 (I THINK) but anyways... My dad was a semi driver & on the road. So he signed papers to get me medical help..... honestly Hernandez is a joke... He should have been kicked in the balls. Pulling people over cuz he was bored with nothing to do..... I just hope the cops now are not like him.

That Hernandez cop was getting alot of drugs maybe to many. If your doing your job your going to get complaints in police work. Sounds like the perry residents had a hard time having a (mexican) being a cop there. Iam a (American) retired Police officer and heard these complaints so I followed the police and would watch them from inside buildings. Didnot see any wrong doing and even followed through on some citizens rumors about the young girls being pulled over. All rumors. Of course when I was a cop women and yes young girls were attracted to the uniform. The fact is a Partime time perry officer and a Shiawassee county dep is under investigation. NO full time officer. Perry citizens you better keep in mind that when you need help you are going to like any cop even a Mexican cop. Very bad things can happen in small towns and they do. Do the right thing and if you do have a complaint make it. Swear to it in front of the Chief by raising your right hand and tell him if your lieing you can be held accountable for filing a false police report. Let him investigate it and if you are lieing take the conseqences or let the officer take the consequeces. Be respectful even if they are not. Yes, give them your driver license sparty you could go to jail if not (obstucting justice)sounds like if he was like you said he was you could of gone to jail.

I hear the State Police are investigating Perry Police. I don't know if it is Offcier Hernandez or not. I hear it is with two officers and one has already quit. THey just got rid of the chief last year for stalking a women....Be Careful driving in this town
I have heard from more than one person who either live in Perry or have been through there for probably the last time. That there's more than one rogue officer working in that city. And I'm sure that they know who they are, themselves. And for the record I think that there are more forces at work on this than they know. Nowadays you can't keep mistreating people and violating their rights like I've been hearing about and not have it catch up to ya. Perry isn't a very big city and bad news travels fast and far away. I even heard that one officers partner questioned his partners actions to someone that was probably having their rights violated at that very moment. The residents and businesses of that town should be very concerned about this situation as it is costing them money in their business revenues as we speak. They'll make less and less money as the problem escalates.because people will start avoiding the place like the plague. I used to go out there once in awhile, but not anymore. And if I were to go out there I wouldn't be alone by any means.

Resnik is fired from Perry, now chief of Oakley. Hernandez fired. Chief Holowfield died in prison. Only 2 bad cops left.

Someone very close to me lives in Perry. She was raped by a cop there. An investigation into the issue got one cop fired and the rapist moved to Texas. She was told it would be easy to throw her in the trunk and make her disappear.
It's like a gang of lawless, above the law, criminals in that town.
They put PPO against her so she couldn't go near a women who stole her cat. When all she had done was go to the bar (public place) where the girl worked and asked to see the cat. Just happens though the bar maid is the mayor's granddaughter so now there's no surprise.
My daughter made a comment on facebook about the issue and they've pulled her into court for violating the PPO. You can't violate a PPO from a distance.
Now they have her in jail where she will likely be assaulted.
Just a word to the law in Perry; you will only remain above the law just so long.
Anyone know an attorney that isn't dirty down that way? I'm totally fed up. The next investigation will be more fruitful.

Picking my child up today, I saw several cops blocking the main entrance, road, and were surrounding a house across the street. I felt frightened for my child, but soon realized they were PROTECTING the school. I still don't know what's going on, as it is still happening. I've lived here my entire life(born and raised), and never had an issue. I speak to them with respect, and have never had a problem. The only problem I've ever had was with someone else, a woman who rolled onto her newborn baby, killing him. She moved the dead infant back to his crib, then called the ambulance. It's been marked as SIDS, even though I SAW the blood marked mattress and reports say he had a crushed skull. My problem is there isn't enough investigation. That woman walks free, with another child. Other than that, thank you to the officers who DO protect and serve.
