Too bad. Never even heard a peep about this. Cant help but thinking of the beautiful old Varsity Theater and how the idiots that run Kam School smashed it down without telling anyone.

I learned that it pays to know what theater your going to.

Wallace Theaters have good theaters, no vice squad here.

They originally said that they were going to close on August 9th, not the 2nd.

..all good things must come to an end, more often if it's happening in Hawaii.

Now the homeless have to find somewhere else to use the bathroom and hang out in A/C comfort for the day.

The movies were of a very low intellectual caliber there.

Sorry to see it go

But the place was a total dive...and getting worse by the month

Seats broken, always dirty, dozens of homeless people often sleeping and carrying on disrespectfully in the theaters

I liked it when they went to this dollar format a few years ago and went frequently, but after awhile it wasn't safe or clean, and I only went occasionally

Great bargain, sad place

another sign of american corporate greed, make it cheap, let the homeless come in to stink the place up, leave it in disrepair and then hold out for a large sum of money, then get out of town.

oh and more lousy private workers.

They better fumigate that area before they build the outpatient medical facility at the theatre site.
