It definitely is racist. When you comment and comment about a person's race you are a racist. Would you like to be called a cracker? No, you wouldn't and that would be very inappropriate to say something as such. Or what about white trash? That is even worse. Beaner? Just as bad. Every race has good and bad and an entire race should not be judged by the actions of a few. Personally, I couldn't careless whether people agree with me or not, they are my opinions, just as you have yours. When you make racial comments, you best believe I'm going to call you out on it, and certainly not politely.

MSNBC has a report about a buffalo and a goat who share the same pasture and are reportedly "inseparable" because they tried to separate them and the buffalo broke the fence. That's the only evidence of their best-friendship, and even their owner (hilariously captioned "Owns animals") " Dated August 21st

And, actually, last year there WAS a buffalo living next door to the horse at the corner. I'm not kidding, it was lovely. He would come up to the fence when I stopped, and I would put salt on my arm and let him lick it off. He was very dainty about it, for a buffalo. Did you know that buffalo have pointed tongues? I don't make this stuff up, friends. Got any good buffalo, horse or goat anecdotes to share? Send them, send them! Thanks! My philosophy is "save a farm animal by staying off the grass!"

People are called racist due to saying nasty, or prejudiced or stereotypical disparagements or generalizations about particular races or ethnicities. People of different ethnicities and races can argue about issues, without bringing in ad hominem attacks regarding the opponent's race or ethnicity. If you have added that stuff to your talk about the issues, you deserved to be called a racist. Being racist is one of the really filthier, brutish and stupid and despicable sins, IMO.

Oh, man... today my temp agency sent me on a job interview. They said that it was a "group interview", and I didn't get the impact until I arrived. This place was interviewing 7 people at once. It was so nerve-racking that I thought my eyeballs were going to come flying out. What I saw was 6 people besides myself, all feeling, no doubt, just as nervous as I was, all needing that job, all realizing that somehow they'd have to stand out, and I thought it was pretty cold of the interviewers to throw us all in the pit together like that. I spoke my little piece, but you know what? On this one, I'm sure that some of the people needed the job even more than I do, and, strangely enough, I was thinking that I hope that the job goes to whoever needs it the most. It's very tough out there, and an interview like that, with all of us there at once, for one job, was kind of like the Christians in the lion pit. I saw a lot of anxious faces, and I hope that every one of us gets a job. There were no goats present.

It all depends on how one may perceive it based on their own experiences and tolerances. So once again its based on personal opinions and views.

Come ON!! What did you see today? Did you love it, hate it, did it make you laugh or cry? Did it move you, or touch you, or make you think? Maybe you only saw a cloud that was shaped like a cloud, but there's so much to see. Don't let anything get by you. You're only here once. What did you see today?
If you saw any goats, please post their location.

What memories. The days of innocence are truly gone. Well this is what I saw today. A movie called "Five people you meet in heaven." Tell me was there anyone in your life that touched you in such a way that it changed the way you looked at yourself and the world around you. I haven't had the pleasure of that lately. Only an ex. husbands and familys betrayal have overshadowed my life completely.

I don't know the details, of course, but I can say that my heart goes out to you. I think that you've found a thread where your thoughts are important, and the people who post here are most kind and caring. Please stay with us and share your heart. You matter here.

My beloved passed in July, and he saw the world with beauty in everything and everyone. If someone was unkind to him, he would go that extra mile to show them kindness. So whatever transpired between you and your ex and family's betrayal, hold your head high and show that you are above it, take pride in the person you are.

Isn't Frmr505 a doll? She (?) always knows the right thing to say. I am so sorry to hear of the passing of her beloved. I wish that there was something that I could do for those who hurt, including myself. Sometimes humor is a mask for sorrow. I have plenty of both. Thanks again to all of you who come here. I no longer feel that I am all alone.

All changes, even the most longed for, have their melancholy; for what we leave behind us is a part of ourselves; we must die to one life before we can enter into another. As most of us do, as we age we seem to lament change..and the young cannot wait for it.....all things are changed, and we change with it...

Today I saw a golden sun rise over Four Peaks, backlighting pearlescent smatterings of clouds with morning silver. Using this as their alarm clock, a great number of crows arose from the bosque to forage in the city. They were sharp black checkmarks in the sky and they all, for some reason, flew silently. The air was so sweet, clean and pure it made me want to cry.
