Did these people ever question why almost half the legislators voted against it? There are not enough health care professionals to absorb opening the flood gates. That is the first of MANY reasons why this is a bad idea.

I am disappointed and outraged that the AARP and AMA have been subverted by socialists! Let insurance adjusters investigate and root them out.

Kucinich voted against HR 3962 because the single payer option was removed. I also am disappointed that states will not be allowed to initiate single payer--it is as much a states rights issue as a healthcare reform issue.

Yes he did the right thing this time IMO. But I will not forgive him for voting
for the stimulus bill. Some money was needed but not all the pork.

36 Dems voted AGAINST Pelosi's obscene unread socialist bill...ALL Repubs but one voted against this monstrosity. Some Repub gook named Cao found it necessary to turn traitor.

This socialist insanity will be torn apart and shredded by the Senate.

What a waste of time the US House is.

AARP will not be getting a renewal from me. They do not speak for me nor do they have my best interests at heart.

AARP started off as a lobbying group. It has hoodwinked thousands of seniors as it has become a Big Business, selling them everything from A to Z these days. To hell with AARP.

Amen to that. They have decided to take a path that differs from my own. IMO they are no different than ACORN really.

Kudos to Teague for standing on his own 2 feet, despite his party's objections. He's representing the wants of the people in his district. Udall and Bingaman would do well to consider *all* their constituents, as well.

This is a socioeconomic issue, not a race issue. Those who don't have want to take it from those who do. Compassion and all the fairness talk aside, this comes down to money and I'm sick of giving what I earn to the government. If the government were to step out of my way, I could provide for, insure myself and save for my own retirement. As it stands, they want to take from me, redistribute and bring me back down to the same level as people who don't plan, sacrifice and save. I have a problem with that; rather than hold up a sign somewhere, I'll make sure Udall and Bingaman know it. If they continue on the current path, I'll take out my frustration at the voting booth.

I just hope there are enough like-minded people left in today's society.
