Police is full of it. This young man couldn't even walk or run with his leg condition he had. So authorities are claming he LIMPED to ATTACK THEM WITH A CROW BAR?!?!? I hope these officers burn in hell, they would of easily took him down with a taser instead of a gun.

it is a tragedy that this man was shot and killed. but at times like this you should be questioning the people in authority. yes the police; but more so the local government (the city council; MAYOR Espanoiza). we should be asking them why they refuse to spend a little more money on keeping the police officers we have; instead of dismissing them when their pay scale gets too high. in affect, the people of la habra are left with young, frightened or trigger happy, unsure or over zealous police officers. the continual flow of new faces is not the problem. its their expeiance level. let your city council know you want some change. but hey if your mayor will not respond, wait til' next term when the rotating mayor seat is handed to the next in line(in la habra the mayors seat is a rotation between the 7 city council members. chosen from the city council, by the city council, for the city council.).

What a light in the world thats flame has been put out to soon in life! This shit is so SAD!! All of us feel it in our guts...there is something so wrong and faulty about this story! It just doesn't make sense! Mike was not a violent person!
What is certain though and more than evident is that this country gives toooo much power to people with short fuses and low IQs!! Why the hell didn't they just take him down with force if he was supposedly "attacking them" which...if you knew Mike seems rediculous anyways...especially if they were supposedly after him for Graffity allegations...WTF!! Hello people!!! What kind of country do we live in that people run the risk of being shot to death for Graffity!
Check out that link to http://www.koreatimes.com/article/articleview ...
HE WAS WALKING AWAY!!
And to the people who called the police claiming to have "seen the suspect" who was soo malitiously graffiting...Don't you have anything better to do!!! Hope this makes you think that there are other things going on in this world that are much more important!!!
RIP Mike! We will all be there tomorrow!

Mike Cho was a friend of mine... and he was a beautiful person.... he was artistic, spiritual, and kind. Since he was young, he had a limp in his leg, that limp made a difference in his life... As a man, he helped the children with disabilities in his church at community colleges cope with their disabilities. He was a GREAT MAN... trying to help children with disabilities like his own. The world has lot a man that could have made such a difference to the disabled children.
Mike was a peaceful caring man, not investigations need to be made on his actions.. he was a normal man that was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was killed for it. He was scared and reacted as a normal man would with guns drawn to your face..
Mike you are missed your friends and family and strangers will remember that you were nothing but a GOOD MAN!
R.I.P. my dear friend... i miss you --i wish i could have one more hug from you

Is a police badge a license to commit murder? These two cops need to be brought up on murder charges. Simple as that. Why should they receive any special treatment becasue they wear a uniform and a badge? This young man had a good life to look forward to only to be taken away by a couple of losers. Is this justice?

My brother Brian was also killed and we both spend out whole lives in Walnut. We are all a very close community and we all very good kids. I don't believe for a second he was causing any trouble. Any tragedy like this affects our entire community and my heart goes out to the close friends and family.

This was excessive force.

Tragedies such as this really make me sick. Even if Cho was a "threat" in any shape or form (which I believe is not true), the police had no reason to shoot him that many times. The surveillance shots clearly show that he was not posing any threat to them and the fact that the cops involved are now taking a "paid vacation leave" while Cho's family and friends are suffering--just shows that the American judicial system is still on the side of the empowered- such as Whites and cops. What happens to all the voiceless and powerless minorities such as Cho who die a wrongful death? The cops may claim that they "feel" bad that this happened but now an innocent man who didn't deserve to die is dead. I see police brutality and I see racism. That is wrong--bring him back to life or you (the police officers) deserve to be put away for life. But of course, all you'll have to do is brush off your shoulders, come back from your paid vacation and live life as if you are protecting the citizens. Hypocrites..one day the truth will prevail.

MIKE SHOULD STILL BE ALIVE!!! police have batans,, they have been trainded to use them,,, if all he had was a crowbar then that could have been easily been handled with batans,, no need to be shot over 10 times,, by multiple officers,, he was outnumberd with a crowbar at the worst (I DIDNT SEE A CROWBAR!!!!!) NO NEED TO KILL A GOOD INTELLEGENT MAN IN THE BEGINNING OF HIS LIFE!!! I CALL FOR MURDER CHARGES AGAINST THE OFFICERS IN CHARGE!!! LETS PUT SOME PRESSURE ON THE LA HABRA PD FOR THIS INJUSTICE AGAINST OUR COMMUNITY,,OUR YOUNG PEOPLE,, THE KOREAN COMMUNITY,,,THE CITY OF LA HABRA,,OUR MINORITIES,,AND OUR BASIC HUMAN RIGHTS,,,
ALSO,, IF YOU ARE A MOTHER OR FATHER OF A YOUNG MAN OR WOMAN,, THIS COULD BE YOUR CHILD!! MIKE CHO ALSO REPRESENTS YOUR YOUNG ADULT SON OR DAUGHTER,,A GOOD, INTELLEGENT HUMAN BIENG... WE CAN TAKE CARE OF OUR OWN COMMUNITIES!!! THE POLICE SHOULD WORK FOR US!!! THEY SHOULDNT SLAY OUR PEOPLE IN THE STREET!!!! THE MORE WE, THE COMMUNITY LET THE POLICE GET AWAY WITH THIS ,, THE MORE THE REASON FOR THEM TO DO THIS AGAIN!!!

We have known Michael since 1988. He has been a freind of our son since kindergarten. In those 19 years He has always been a pleasure to be around and I'm proud our son had such a great person as his freind. The thought that he was "confronting" the police to the point they felt the only way out was to mortally wound him is dumbfounding to us. We pray for you Michael and know you are someplace that harm will no longer come your way...
