I agree with you on most of this till you said s "good" deputy told you .... There is no such thing up there.!!! I'm sure K
Joey Gentry could tell a lot and personally I wish he would. He was a good jailer and he's a good honest
man, I would certainly believe what he would have to say. The truth about what goes on behind those walls need to be revealed.
If there's no such thing as a good deputy what makes you think Joey Gentry is a good jailer and an honest man.

I have known him all his life, my children grew up with him and his siblings. I am very grateful he got out of that place. Mark is not a good man , ask anyone in the county. It's obvious he knows nothing about being a sheriff. Therefore, how can he chose good officers or even know how to train them?

I have known Mark all my life and he has been truthful and honest to me. As far the deputies go which ones are you talking about. They are sent to the police academy to get trained and certified by the state.

If he was truthful and honest with you !!! Your one of very few that hes truthful and honest. As for the deputies most of them ain't worth a dam, but that's Marks fault to. All they ever do is work traffic at wrecks while the troopers do the investigation. How many have you ever seen writing a ticket, that's right none because Mark has them serving warrants. When you read the paper each week and you see the county has 2 or 3 rows of things that have supposedly done, that's the papers they served that week.

I believe one officer that aint there probably would talk cause he wasnt crooked enough too work there as he said, lol! But like u said Joey Gentry could tell alot and some others that have worked there. But I have to say,I think alot people in Macon Co need to stick together and get a sheriff, that we can trust and not be so crooked. And county commissioner like u that knows when things need to be fixing and not swept under rub! And Winky u do a good job!

MACON COUNTY, Tenn. A former Macon County jail correctional officer has been arrested on misconduct charges.
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation arrested 32-year-old Adam Nash on Wednesday. He was indicted on five counts official misconduct and one count of sexual contact with an inmate by the Macon County grand jury on Monday.
A TBI investigation, requested by the District Attorney General in January, found that while working in the jail between June and December 2011, Nash allegedly gave female inmates privileges in exchange for them showing him their bare chests. Nash also had sexual contact with a female inmate in January 2012.
Nash was booked into the Macon County Jail on $10,000 bond

No idiot here, I know that system, I know that facility, and I know that sheriff. Call it what you like but
it is very possible. Also, our district attorneys office isn't the smartest one around I know of several screw ups
they have made and don't even get me started on the tbi- what a joke.

Lol, your are a idiot if you think the state and grandjury would bring charges agaist nash 3 months later for something he didn't do. Prolly his moma. Lol. Yall said he didn't do it before. Now he's got charges. You still say he didn't while he's sitting in a jail cell. Guess we will say I told you so when a jury of his own peers convict him for about 6 months jail time. I personally think there's a lot of people that need framed and put away before adam nash.

I never thought he get a life sentence for misconduct at work. But I think he's guilty. People don't go to jail for hanky panky at the gap in the closet so why should he. I'm not against nash. He's a decent dude that made a mistake. He will prolly get probation for a year or something. But to say he's not guilty or didn't do it is another story. He's been caught.

It's called sin.

It will take you farther than you want to go.
It will keep you longer than you want to stay.
It will cost you more than you want to pay.

There is pleasure in sin for a season then the door closes on the pleasure and opens on the wages of sin. Don't think you will get away with sin there is always a price to pay. Ask yourself before you do anything if it is going to be worth the price you are going to pay. I bet Adam would say he didn't get his money's worth.
