good that he was arrested, the question is will any thing be done to him and how about the victim, in Lafayette, when our property is stolen the police take what they recover and make themselves the benefacdtor of our loss, it would be one thing if the court would then cause the perpetrator to reimburse us, (of course that would not make sense either since these creatures will never be productive) it is long past due that we have to compell this governement to be honest. It will not do what is right on its own. I believe that these housing programs were designed to increase crime so that government could then benefit themselves by more of our stolen property. Another thing that needs to be addressed is the police threatening the victim for arrest if they file a report, the incidences of these actions are tremendous, that is for the purpose of making the area seem more safe than it really is. The charge against the officer would be public intimidation. Have to do it after the fact cause they will arrest at the scene. Always best to get away from their officer as best as you can. Then file charge later in open court by affidavit. be sure to get badge number and name.
