Nice work! You made this dump look more 3rd world than it already did. Where did you idiots go to school? What a waste of money. Yay Morgan Schitty.

I have been asking the following question without getting any answers. First the major earthquake of 1930 in LA was felt between Pierre Part & Napoleonville. Around June 8 tremors were felt in Assumption Parish. A few days later the visitor center sank in Morgan City. Natural gas releases caused the roiling of the waters in Bayou Corne & Grand Bayou. Morgan city is almost due south of the Assumption occurrences. Do you think that the tremors or a fault line were responsible for the sinking of the visitor center? Remember an earthquake in a marsh is rather like shaking a bowl of jello.

No way it was an earthquake. If it were, other buildings, bridges and roads would have sunk too. None did. This is clearly poor engineering and/or construction work. Imagine what they could have done with the money (3+ million).

That sunken building is a testament to the half-ass work, lazyness and corruption that is our way of life. Thanks to the reality shows, the world now thinks we're all uneducated, poorly-spoken white trash.

Surely does not say much about the contractor & engineer responsible for the building site, foundation preperation and providing proper support of a building on that particular location.
