I know the family very well and the sentence imposed does not put any closure on this situation at all. Brandi left behind a very confused and hurt 17 year old son and a new born that will never know his mother. This man should NEVER be allowed to walk the streets again and hopefully he wont see the light of day again. Jeremy shouldve received a much harsher sentence than what he did. How could this man take the life of his owns childs mom. To Brandis family, my thought and prayers are with you and those two boys!!

Yes I know Jeremy Taylor very well.
He raped my youngest daughter and beat my oldest daughter (at the time his fiancee) black and blue.Beat her for 8 houres and also put knifemarks around her throat and heart area.
They also have a child together.A little girl 4 years old.I hope my granddaughter will never know who her dad is.What a shame Jeremy had to kill that beautiful girl to finally get what he deserves.He should had been locked away a long time ago.It makes me so angry ,he was able to run the streets knowing he has a criminal record as long as my arm.He's not sorry for what he did.He is sorry they finally put him where he belongs.
And in my eyes .....its not enough....

that's all bull crap. jeremy was a good man. sure he did wrong to brandi but he never once touched your daughter i think i would know. if he did why did she go back to him all the time? exactly that baby was so attached to her daddy. that's wrong for any of you to say she should never know her dad. jeremy did wrong but he's still a human with a child that he cares for. he is sorry for what he did!

Look, I dont know who you are but do you know that Jeremy beat on Brandi more than once? Did you know that when their son was born, he didnt even want to be on the birth certificate? So you tell me he LOVES his kids.....BULL CRAP!!! And as far as the death threats, he was a drug dealer, hes probably screwed up before this too. I think that more people should focus on helping Brandis mom get custody of her baby. I would love to see a petition started to help Brandis mother. As for Jeremy, I hope he suffers!!!

He didn't want his name on the birth certificate because he was told more than once he wasn't the father. Even now know one is sure. But he was man enough to put his name on the birth certificate.
Why hasn't Brandi's mom gotten custody?
What does it take?

i think its funny that anyone can call jeremy a good guy. and for those saying that he never toched my sister you just did not know. he ruined my life at 14 so please tell me how he is a good man. i'm so happy his daughter does not know who he is and that he is not in her life. and also if hes such a good man then how come he got locked up not that long ago for armed robbery. so who ever bailed him out gave him anoter chance to kill poor brandi so those who think hes a good guy you must be very blind.

Well I guess since everyone else has a say, I do too. I believe Jeremy got what he deserved, although he should have gotten more. Brandi did not deserve that, and neither did her children or her family. Jeremy was far from a good man, hell, he beat one of my sisters, and raped my other sister, who should I add was only 14 at the time? If he is such a good man, why did he beat someone so much smaller then him and rape someone so much younger than him? Tell me how that is good? Should I also add that he even hit my mother? Come on now, I think he deserves to suffer in every way he has made everyone else suffer in his life.

dearest pbs, i know you are family but I was there the day jeremy was asked to sign the birth certificate. I know what he said and what he did. I also know hes still screwing with brandis family. Her mom doesnt have custody because that SOB is still trying to get the last word in. His family hasnt wanted anything to do with that baby until Brandi was killed. Now all the sudden, its his kid and his mom wants it. He took brandis life and now with the help of his family, hes trying to ruin Logans life. I think she should just back off, after all, she raised a murderer. I think the judicial system stinks. He can get out of prison in 35 years for murdering and burning a body so bad that her own son couldnt recognize her and now he wants his family to raise Logan. What kind of man is this? Why doesnt he try to show some kind of remorse and let Brandis mother raise Logan, after all, he killed her daughter.

I have known Jeremy since grade school. He was my Jr. High sweetheart. Aftr my divorce in 2005, we rekindled and I soon found out that he wasn't the same sweet, shy boy I knew back in school. He was a cold hearted, manipulating man. He wold be cool one moment, and then flip the second. It only took me a couple days to rid myself of that. It's a very sad ending for many families.
