I thought that Obama said Caterpillar was going to be able to rehire people after Obama's stimulus package? You know, the stimulus package that was supposed to save all of the jobs and create even more?

What? Obama said that they were going to be hiring more people and now they're letting more people go. You voted for this crook America and now the rest get sent down the tubes with the idiots who voted for this typical politician. We need to recall all government positions and start over with people that will obey the constitution and not wipe their feet on it like the crooks we have now in office. I'm so sick of these people sending us down the river because they have an agenda that is not in the American peoples interest. They keep talking loud and saying nothing! WAKE UP AMERICA!!

If politicians are to be recalled, start with His Majesty Mitch. He ran his campaign on how good the Indiana econmomy was on his watch. He calls for major news conferences when a couple of new jobs hit Indiana but hides in the corner when hundreds of jobs leave.
Now the Republicans in the Indiana Senate want to cut unemployment pay. Typical for them.
How many of our so called leaders are taking cuts?????????

Wall Street is up for the 5th day in a row, have faith in the wealthy, and the oligarchy of Wall Street, they will turn it around in a few years. There is a new saying tax the poor to make the rich and it seems to be working at least on the surface.

This has nothing to do with Mitch, Mr. South Carolina, this is Caterpillary nation wide. We are dealing with this because of something that started with Jimmy Carter, giving people who can't afford something, a loan. This is the trickling affect of it. This was built on by Reagan,Clinton, and Bush. They've all had their hands in this, BOTH PARTIES. Now, Jimmy Carter the second, is making things much worse, even though he said Caterpillar would rehire if his stupid spending package, which isn't going to do anything to help, passed. I'm so glad to see that people are waking up to how political Jimmy Carter Obama is. Jan 20, 2013, the end of an error.

You should point your question towards your union stewart have they taken a cut? Probably have from people like yourself.

First off, I live in Columbus, IN.

If you would recall correctly Chrysler paid back the money they borrowed. Bet the ones that bush gave money to won't.
Also, this does concern YOUR MAN MITCH. He is your state leader and the one bragging about how Daylight Savings Time would bring many new jobs to Indiana.. We're still waiting. He also ran his campaign on the great economy of Indiana.
As for my union stewart, he has taken a cut. In fact all of us on the shop floor are working 4 days a week while our management is still working 5. How much have you been cut?
