Greenbush VP Robbed

Lafayette police are investigating an armed robbery at another Village Pantry. Police said two black men walked into the store at 3630 Greenbush Street around 12:20 a.m. Tuesday.

Why is it that we ddo NOT have any sort of patrol going on at these places? VP's are getting robbed weekly these days. Where are the TAX dollars we ALL PAY for the service of protection???? Can any one of you imagine what it feels like to make minimum wage and have a shot gun pulled on you for cigarettes and a little cash. These clerks need protection from the idiots that are doing this.What about Surveillance???

time to let clerks with weapon permits to work and use a good .45 auto, knock a few of them down and get paid for it. The american way, not just thugs have weapons

When only the robbers have guns this happens.Its an easy target.They need an armed teller! One that works at different stores on different days. It would stop these petty criminals!!!!

Companys like VPs Don,t care what happens to their employees, food for thought a lot of these so call robberys people seem to know when to hit them. could it be former employees or inside jobs staged the one were the women robbed the same one two nights in a row?

Yea...that's the problem, this is the "American Way"...work for minimum wage, barely feed our children and have to defend our lives over a pack of cigarettes! Maybe we should all man up, look out for our neighbor and provide for ourselves. It is the people that fall through the cracks that commit these crimes...maybe we should stop ignoring the "cracks" and seal them!
