Everyone, please oppose spending another $9 billion on a new mass transit system from Los Angeles to the bay area to later include San Diego and Sacramento, costing billions more of our money.

Our government just can't manage another mass transit system. Too much violence, corruption, incompetence, and taxation without representation. Mehserle didn't look surprised when he fired the shot.

what kind of drugs are you on ?

what does it matter how many of us oppose anything ? of course our government can't manage anything ? yes lots a violence, incompetence, unjust taxation and in the same breath the look on Mehserle's face when he pulled the trigger - priceless.

When it comes to public name calling, Allen West has said so many hyper-partisan things himself that I think the CBC should say "good-bye" and "good-riddance" to him if he wants to leave.

It looks to me like Allen West can dish out hyper-partisanship but he cannot he take it.

I would let Allen West go because he is just as guilty of hyper-partisanship in my opinion.

Please do not hold the "Black community" responsible for the riots in Oakland. It was a multiracial crowd, including many out-of-town radical types, taking out their anger on buildings and businesses unrelated to the killing. And it was despicable.
And please do not describe the two-year sentence as some kind of appeasement to the "Black community," just to keep them from rioting. The sentence is punishment for Mehserle, and weak punishment at that.
And Mehserle is no victim. He did this to himself.
Yes I heartily agree. Just because the victim was black doesnt mean that there are not any non black people who are disgusted and so, as occured about the Rodney King case, may also react profoundly, whatever that may entail, about the verdict. Black people certainly did not invent crime or violence, as evidenced by this police shooting.

Let this be both a warning and a lesson to those in POWER, in business and local city governments like Glendora, California.

The other $3 million was for punitive damages, an award granted after the jury found that Sears' policymakers and managers conducted themselves "with malice, oppression or fraud" for failing to investigate or to act on Johnson's complaints about the slur and other racist acts.

Glendora city hall deparment heads and city council have been GUILTY of the above case and more! Some of the local clubs have also done the same.
