Very interesting article. Sounds like we need some Class Action Law Suites. Given that the individuals are on a fix income there must be some hungry lawyers in Florida that would take the Villages on. With the IRS breathing down their neck, this might be the right time.

It does seem odd that information out of the Villages is closely watched. Don't hear much bad news, which seems very strange. Although it is in the residents and owners best interest to only release good news.

Sometimes when something appears to be to good it often is isn't.

In The Villages (by the way, TV means Teabag Village) the develioper owns everything and everybody. If you happen to have a business on Village grounds he owns a piece of that too.

The crappy built houses are built on miniscule lots, so the houses are almost on top of each other. They only invite pols like Palin or Faux News. And all the old, white people love it there - they are among their own.

I know this is an old post and you may not ever read this, but, those old folks may not all be Republicans. I'm not a Republican and I would never be happy with someone's misfortune or wish them harm in any way. That is being mean spirited, no matter who the person or party affiliation. One should always be careful what they wish for. Think good thoughts.

Moving...got too big and crowded for me. Sick of fighting for everything like parking,a chair in the square, a table in a restaurant. Too many accidents and who can trust the developer???
