ok yeah teenagers aren't always smart when it comes to driving and weaving in and out on the road.. but why is everyone bitchin' about they should've done this they should've done that... don't you see? it's too late to be talking about that right now b/c HELLO ryan is dead and you all should care b/c us teenagers who know Ryan are in deep saddness right now... My sister was his friend and so was my best friend.. The best thing for people to be doing right now is to show comfort for those who are close to Ryan... like duh!! His FAMILY!! well I send all prayers out to Ryan and his family and the other teenager that was injured Kyle. I'll tell you another thing... it hurts when you lose your best friend.. I lost my best friend a few years ago b/c of a car crash.. him and his friend didn't have seatbelts on and they overcorrected the car and ran into a tree and one boy went flying over the house's roof and on the ground on the other side and the other boy went flying in the roof and landed in the attic. One of the boys happened to be my best friend and the respectful thing I did was showed up at his funeral and gave his family a hug. I am now good friends with his younger brother and we all still miss his brother. Haven't you guys lost something that close to you in life that made you sad? huh? people need to start showing some respect around here. Jeez!!

We should push the legal driving age back to 18.
I wish I could say I disagree, but with things like this happening, maybe we should.

It's a sad tragedy, one of them was a friend.

Just shows you should be more careful, because the worst happens when you aren't.

wow. you people are completley oblivious. they wernt supposed to be in school, none of them were in school anymore by that point! yeah what they did was stupid.. but someone died! so about stop being so insensitive and realize that a lot of people are in mourning, this is their second child that was killed, in ONE year! and about the driving age being changed to 18, i know plenty of adult who are more careless then any teen i know.

you can teach your children to wear their seat belts, my children always wear their seat belts!!!! When my oldest daughter was dating, and her boyfriend ( now my son in law ) would not put on his seat belt, not only would she call me to tell me, she also pulled over to the side of the road and would not go on until he put it on.
I'm not sure if raising the driving age is the right thing to do, but i remember when we were teenagers you couldn't drive a motorcycle over so many cc's. I think that what they should do is not allow anyone between 16-18 yrs old to drive anything over 4 cyl ( manual transmission preferably ) unless they are with a PARENT not just any adult over 18

The Facts:
1) According to eyewitness reports the news articles are not correct.
2) Ryan was human. Keyword: WAS
3) This was an accident. That means NOT intentional
4) Ryan's friends and family know the truth about Ryan and loved him dearly.

I feel sorry for the people who don't know Ryan or any of the people involved in Ryan's life and based solely on newspaper reports lash out at innocent people who have lost a loved one. It is clear the real problem is with you. I am sorry that your life is so empty that this is how you spend your time. I am sorry for you that you are so heartless and I can't help but wonder what has happened in your life to bring you to the point of sitting at your computer with such hatred. People say they are being realistic when they state their mind with no empathy for others. The reality is that you people need to start using your pent up frustration in a positive manner. Take a hard look at where you are in your own life before being so quick to lash out people in mourning.

For the family and friends of Ryan please do not let these people upset you. Their thoughts are not important.

Ryan, we love you and miss you. We are so sorry that you are gone, but since it had to be we find peace in the fact that you and Michael are together again.

I have been good friends with Ryan since 3rd grade... we even dated for a while. He was a good person and a good friend. He always helped in any way he could but i really dont think some of the idiots on here understand that. He was just a kid, he was having a rough time i mean just 6 months before his brother was killed. I learned from his death, i always wear a seatbelt and i know how precious life is. This is ridiculous for people to state their opinion when they dont even know him and i thank all of those who a kind. Let your prayers be with Ryan's family and friends and screw the rest of you if you dont have anything nice to say dont say it at all!

Ok i am sure you all are not going to like what i say but in my past experiences i had a friend that died liek that and he was a passenager. ok I am not glad but glad that the driver got killed and not the passenger. he was driving he is the one that was stupid and drive like that.
I feel for the parents of both kids. but again the seatbelt might of safed them. We all tell our kids to wear the seatbelt and if they do not they could be killed. but when the kids are out of our sites we do not know 100 per cent if they do what they are told. they tell us they are but are they.
We give our kids our advise but it is up to them if they take it to heart.
I have three kids two boys and i caught them not wearing there seatbelts and my daugether does but it is up to the kids to wear them
You're one fucked up individual, to have the audacity to say you're glad the driver died, not the passenger. People make mistakes. What kind of person with children of their own would say they're glad someone else's child died, just because they made a driving mistake. Yes it was a big mistake, but still. Who are you to say that? You're lucky profanity is restricted, because I have a lot more to say.
