I have two fairly new Touch Lamps that do not work,I have to turn them on manually,has anyone had this problem?

Did they EVER work ? I have two touch lamps but neither of them even HAS a manual switch. What would be the point, if you are supposed to turn them on by TOUCH. I'm thinking that maybe your lamps are NOT touch lamps.

Of course they worked,I purchased them brand new,they worked very well,plus I know what touch Lamps are

Your fingers may not be warm enough for the sensor to work. Try sitting on it, like I do. Works every time.

There is a touch sensor INSIDE the lamp that needs to be replaced. About $6 at Lowe's.

Yes, they sure did work,I purchased them brand new,I still have the box somewhere,but they are definitealy Touch Lamps,the Sensor may be bad,and they are very pretty lamps,what a shame

So what are you saying ? You're not willing to go to Lowe's and get a $6 replacemnet sensor and FIX the damn lamps. You'd rather just bitch about that they don't work. Are you living in The Villages ?
