Does anyone remember what restaurant was in the building on manchester before Hacienda and before Parente's? Seems like it was a high class place with a name beginning with a 'C'. This would have been in the 60's. Any help?

If it' the place I am thinking of, there was a restaurant known for their fried chicken called Cunninghams. I believe it was just before where Brentwood Lanes are or used to be. |

I'm talking about the same building that Hacienda is now in. |

Sorry. Try calling Rock Hill City Hall. I am sure someone there would know.

I took your advice. A person at city hall knew of someone who has written a book about Route 66, St Louis restaurants, etc. and she told me the name. It was Chalet de Normandie. Here's a link to the book site http://www.route66stlouis.com/ |
