One Person Killed In East Alabama Highway Crash

News 3 has learned one person is dead after an accident involving a pickup truck and a motorcycle on Highway 80 in Ladonia, Alabama.

My prayers go to the family members/friends of this tragic accident. Warmer weather brings more bikes out, lets all slow down and be mindful of one another. It's ironic that my spouse and I were about to go that direction within moments of hearing of this. Let's all just SLOWWW DOWN and be aware of one another.

I was out and witnessed the scene of this terrible accident after the fact. As police and emergency workers struggled with the horrible situation, drivers were zooming by, honking horns and generally acting like the ambulance, cops and fire/rescure workers were in their way.

Today's driving environment is a deadly serious situation. People really die out here.

Slow down and remember your manners when coming upon the scene of an accident. Someday, it could be you on the asphalt!
