Doctor caught with marijuana in 2008 could lose medical license
A Newport Beach doctor charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession in 2008 may have his physician and surgeon license revoked, according to court documents filed with the Medical Board of California.

This is ridiculous. Who did he hurt? I would rather have this doctor than one that drinks alcohol. Ruining this person's life over a harmless plant is ridiculous. There are millions of people who use cannabis responsibly and this doctor sounds like one of them. Hopefully the medical board will do the right thing and allow this doctor to continue to practice.
