I know it is hard to park sometimes, but try to patronize as much as possible. There is so much more to the story and hopefully it will come out. It's sad that a town can have so much power to try to run businesses out. They are trying to pass a parking ordinance on Main Street and surrounding to limit and reduce spaces for landlords who have to use municipal parking for their tenants and for business owners who rely on parking. Funny how they have the police chief putting together the parking structure and how it should work. Would think that the chief would have better things to do and if not- maybe he should ask the businesses and landlords how a new parking ordinance would affect them so they could have input too! But they would have to care first. Hmm?

What else would the Captain of the Belmont Police Department have to do if there are no details to work? Besides, in case you didnt know, I heard from a relative of the guys who own the hardware store that Captain Mark Lewandowski and his wife, Donna Cilley the welfare director for Belmont, sued the Woodberry's and lost. They have been using there powers as town officials to stick it to the Woodberry's ever since. This is the story behind them feeling they are being targeted. Only hardware store customers get tickets and only from Lewandowski, no other cops are writing any. Sounds like dirty politics to me! I dont know them personally, but have seen enough of their tractor commercials! If this is true maybe the Woodberry's need to file there own lawsuit!

They don't care about the local businesses, they only care about themselves! See how the cops all stick together. You have the Laconia Chief sticking his nose into the parking situation too. I dont think the Woodberry'sever said parking was not an issue, they said they only write out tickets to the customers and no one else. Rumor has it only the Captain who lost the lawsuit against them writes the tickets. Thats ia a HUGE conflict of interest!! Captain should not have anything to do with it! And as far as landlords, the Captain'swife, Donna Cilley, is not only the welfare director but the property manager at the BElmont Village Apartments so she can keep the apartment complex full with tax payers welfare money and never has to evict anyone for not paying their rent. Wow, what a MONEY market they have going on there! You better make sure she likes you or she will not help you out. And if she doesnt like your landlord you are renting from, she will convince you to move into her apartments or she wont give you any help!! Hmmmmmmm????

Why is this posted on the Gilmanton Forum instead of Belmont? We have enough police problems here we don't need Belmonts to.

If this was posted under the Belmont Forum why repeat it on the Gilmanton one. Let Belmont enjoy their own police problmes, we have enough of our own here and we have no control over theirs so why would we care? The Gilmanton Topix site is for topics concerning Gilmanton, or did I miss the point of this site.

Funny someone comes from Florida, slides into a low-income unit,(HUD),never waiting on list, like most poor folks do. Sometimes years for most! Applies for SSI, Town of Belmont pays for everything, they even have internet, I can't afford it! Did I mention they arrived with just the clothes on their backs!!! Now,about 14 months later, a SECOND NEW CAR has been added. No children, husband and wife only. I wish I had Head of Belmont Welfare as my bank account!!! Please someone explain to me how to get on that list!!!! Everyone--should check this out!!!Who's next?! They are NOT the only ones in that apartment complex with new cars and living off Belmont Welfare Department money!!! There's alot of illegal things that are going on there!!!!

I KNOW FIRST HAND!! The illegal goings-on by that pair would come off as a "fiction"story! You wouldn't believe it!! My next step with the proof I have is, Federal Housing!!! People with too many children in two bedroom apartments, Felons, undocumented incomes, and illegal receipts. It boils down to two sets of books! As stated, being intimated by her policeman husband! Time is getting closer, for the
public to see the true abuse of their authority they have been using for years.

I would like to express my appreciation to the outstanding onsite staff at Belmont Villiage Apartments! Whether you are home or not, they feel free to take inventory checks of your apartment to ensure you continous safety and satisfaction, there is absolutely no need to initiate a 24 hour notice nor there be an emergency situation, how comforting to know when we are gone, someone is always home! I especially enjoy the free service of our 6:45am inside door dumpster checks, by our most gracious, Donna Cilley!

There is a space here for everyone, absolutely no rules, or the same for everyone! It keeps life so interesting and entertaining, with so little to do but be puppets on a string. How wonderful things could have been if Donna's plan to put a stockade fence around the complex and tear out the playground for the children. I would compare it to Hogan's Hero's. It's not only our space, it's our fotress.

Obey our Comidant, and all expenses paid. For example, true story :) How wonderful, you need to go to Washington, you have no car, no money, the property Manager, Donna Cilley, was gracious enough to allow us the use of her Luxurious Lincoln SUV and also the credit card. Of coarse we get special privileges since we are within the 3% of the minority and only minority here in. We went to her for help in Belmont Welfare unable to pay our rent at another complex, she was most kind in offering us to join the Villiage. We had no money, she said do not worry about it, and she paid our rent for two years. We visited her home on several occasions, and my youngest daughter of 22 and 400 pounds, was offered a position at the Belmont Police Department to do filling, by Donna's most dearest husband, upon completion of drastic weight loss, of coarse. Now still no money but time to move on, Donna is a finding a house for us that Rural Developement will pay for, through her magical financial abilities.

Donna's very dear best friend, had two wonderful twin daughters, with a combined weight of 750 pounds, they balance out the Villiage marvelously. One on the East and one on the West. She rescued them from Brettenwoods Apartments on the brink of evictions, due to their diviant and disruptive behavior.

How lovely to know when she is not here, her reporters are on watch and ready to report. When she says jump, you ask how high, then you're in like flynn.

Unfortunately, if you chose to be an independent, unneedy and self-sufficiently resouceful, logic would say thats great, Donna would say that is not. The battle has just begun!

God bless those who maintain their independence and dignity, contrary to popular belief, Donna is not God. This is the USA Land of the Free, pledge on.

Stop teasing us! They are untouchable. I would like to know how she gets paid full time for being the welfare director while she is in court as a property manager. No conflict there. Soon they will be having full control of the town especially with her best friend Ruth and his buddy Jon as selectmen.
They share confidential information with each other in order to harass people who question their authority. This is where lying and double dipping gets you, promoted. Look out to all the people they have sued because there are going to be lots of parking tickets getting issued!

You should read up on the landlord tenant laws. They can not enter your apartment without giving you an advance notice.

How dare you! I'm going to SUE you for saying this! Then I'm going to have my husband (who only married me because I was a selectman at the time and promised to make him Chief AND I had lots of money from suing everybody so I could buy him hunting toys) I am suing everyone on this forum!! Then I'll be sending the police department out to harass your family and ilegally enter your apartments if you give me a hard time waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
