Yea, Specter just showed what a friend he is. When the rubber hits the road he runs for the hills. Toomey is going to crush him despite your so called support..Bye, Bye Arlen..

I guess we could say that Joe isn't long on green...

Joe's complaint about Green is very similar to what I would hear from the UMW rank and file about their local leaders though. All for themselves, and God help the union peon that crossed them!

Joe,

I can understand your feeling on your personal problem. But there are many "problems" that confront all Americans and all politicians.

An anecdotal story like this could probably be written by many if not most politicians, both Rep, Dems, Conservative or Liberal or Socialist.

But the issue here is "Card Check". And now Senator Specter has made a decision, unless he changes it to oppose Card Check. I believe his decision is the right one in this case. Regardless of how he got there. And with Arlen, how he got there could be a matter of contention.

In other words, I hope Arlen keeps his pledge to oppose "Card Check" because that will maintain the secret ballot that we all enjoy in voting and that will help to keep out voting system, even in unions, fair and balanced.

I have heard lots of complaints from union rank and file about their leaders.

You have to be naive to believe that labor leaders, as a group, are any less greedy and self serving than employers.

Doesn't mean unions are bad, but a little intellectual honesty is always welcome.

Joe, you will impress no one if you can't string a proper sentence together.

Why should I believe you when you say non-union companies are the only way to move forward in this country when you can't even punctuate correctly?

Are there any smart Republicans here to debate? Someone capable of independent thinking?

All the right keeps throwing up are regurgitated talking points that mean nothing.

The anti union statements are unfortunate, as we need unions today, in a general sense.

At the same time, the pro union people have often given us issues from 50 years ago, as to why we need unions today. Just reinforces the perception that you are living in the past.

Avis, you disagree with Joe based upon philosophy, it has nothing to do with his grammar.

If you want me to find posters who agree with you, and use bad grammar, I am sure I can find them, but it is not worth it.

Your comments on Joe's grammar are just your typical way of personally insulting someone who disagrees with you.

What do you think a working man would think about me dating a colored girl?
