<quoted text>Why didn't you call the police?
DMV has nothing to do with issuing handicap tags.
trust me - I called the police and public safety (the campus police). i know who to call. they wouldn't issue her a ticket because the hang tag was issued legally to her husband (who happend to die over a year ago). I had to call DMV to tell them her husband was dead and the hang tag was being used illegally.

police should not be enforcing this rule on private property parking lots. It none of their business where I park. If I'm on public property, then its a different story.

I had a total knee replacement a couple years ago, having to walk TO the store from a spot and then THROUGH the store to shop, I thought I was going to die! But to get by the handicapped spots and see healthy people get out of their cars really pissed me off. I did not ask for a handicapped sign even though I could have got a temporary one, but I just would like to know if these people give a thought to the fact that there are a wide array of reasons for those signs. Maybe someone can't walk, maybe someone has seizures, you NEVER know. Also, just because 1 member of the family requires the spot does not mean when other family members have the vehicle that they are entitled to the same consideration.

This is good to hear. Blatant violaters should be fined. But on the other hand, almost everybody, it seems has a handicap placard that hangs over the mirror. Some day, when you have the time, sit and watch who parks in these spaces...very interesting. Alot of them aren't anywhere near being handicapped, just lucky to have a doctor they can B.S.
Working at a public facility, the best one I ever heard,(God forgive me) was a guy that had to park close to the building, because in the winter, if he had to walk from the parking lot, his glass eye would freeze. True story....
I used to think the same thing until I got sick. You can't see my disability but I can guarantee you it is there! I have urological problems, have a hard time with balance, walking at times, and chronic pain in legs, neck, and back.

Sometimes when i know parking is going to be tough, like at the galleria at christmas time. I ask my retarded neighbor to come along. I just leave him in the car and get my shopping done. Hes just happy to go for a ride, and everyone thinks im such a great guy. Its a win-win.

If your tard neighbor is unavailable, get hold of Tturd and borrow his boy. Don't take him to eat as he follows his father's lead and steals huge amounts of condiments.

Whats the matter Life afraid to use your screen name, we all know YOU have a sticker because your too lazy to walk and are afraid that you just might get some exercise.
Just want to let you know that if you start to walk alittle bit each day and work up to a good distance. You will lose weight [ if you stop eating a ton of food everyday ] and you just might live longer.[ OH God what am I saying?]
Because If you have a heart attack and one of them volunteer firemen have to give you CPR , I would say you would have a GOOD chance of dying.[ I mean with all the lies you have told about them they just might be pi--ed off and if they find out that the fat slob lying there on the ground is you ,they just might break out in laughter, and would not beable to give CPR because they are laughing to hard.
So if I were you I would start to park out aways and do a little bit of walking,
Have a good night

Thank you for posting that.
Do some walking you fat slob.
you just might lose some weight .
IF you cut back to 1 ton of food a day instead of 2tons.
and you should stop using a shovel and start using a knife, fork and spoon like civilized people do.
your wife tells everybody she has to wash you down with a high pressure hose everytime you eat you are such a slob.

there is a handicap sign right in front of my house... the person that parks there is not even disabled let alone handicap. She helped push my husbands car one day when it was stuck in the snow......My husband couldn't drive his car out it was stuck in icy hard snow, all of a sudden he felt his car moving and it was her pushing the car out all by her self....it upsets me when people take advantage of the system....

Good thing nobody's asking you. I exercised plenty, while I was in the service, and still came out with multiple sclerosis. I can assure you, my disability is very real.
Thank you for fighting for us and I'm sorry about your disability.
I can't walk far because I'm on oxygen and have very bad hips. So I have a handicap license plate.

There is nothing that makes me madder than seeing someone with a handicapped plate parking in a spot when they aren't crippled.
They take up all the handicapped spots and then the real cripples dont have a place to park
There should be an Internet handicapped spot for people who still use AOL...

Im 100% disabled & I've got a placard. I usually have to park in a regular space due to all the violators using the handicapped spots...the worst place: lil Caesar's on Elmwood ave in Buffalo. It's usually college kids or ignorant people who don't want to walk more than 5 ft. I get frustrated & if I say something, I get cussed out. I wish there was a 24 hr phone number I could use to call parking enforcement. Calling 911 for this makes me feel guilty , taking the police away from an emergency.
