Yet no mention what church...ie parish accepted her. Sounds like nothing more than a stunt. Where did she study? What degrees does she have? Msm hacks it up again.

I did. No parish and no degree mentioned. It seems this lady was ordained only toake the news.

Not legit in the Catholic church. In fact, she probably was excommunicated with this action. But then that's where faith comes in.

This is amazing, my, how times have changed. Especially, considering it wasn't that long ago that Gilbert Gottfried himself said that, "the smartest thing to come out of a woman's mouth was Einstein's c.o.c.k."

FTA:
"The ordination is considered invalid by the Roman Catholic Church"
"A 2008 Vatican decree automatically excommunicates women who attempt ordination and the people who attempt to ordain them."

So not only is she not a Catholic Priest, she is not even a Catholic.

And yet people insist the church isn't sexist? No, Jesus didn't have women followers...but women didn't work outside the home then either...why are they allowed to now?

How much you want to bet that some day there WILL be the ordination of women? They get short enough of priests, the "rules" will change once again. For now, they simply don't WANT women to be priests, the same way they don't WANT Mary to have had sex with her husband Joseph! Seems even married sex can taint a person, huh?

Yes, you're right - but why can't they be ordained? Do you really think that Jesus, if He were here today, would be against that?

You do know that the Catholic Church isn't the only church that don't allow women preachers?

It can be a heady and yet dangerous thing to try to say what Jesus would or would not want on hot button issues in the Church today.
The reality is that rightly or wrongly the Church does not ordain women to the priesthood. My personal thoughts and these are mine alone is that I would love it if the Church would open the way for women who feel called and make it throught priestly formation to then be ordained. Do I see this happening in my lifetime...no. This is not something that can be rushed. Though many in the U.S. seem ready for women priests we must remember that as a Church that is worldwide there are many cultures and societies that are not.
